[Objective]: This experiment is to test disinfecting action of the compound bio-active ceramic root filling material to the main bacteria of infected root canal. The anaerobes in the experiment are Haemophilus-melaninogenicus, Actinomyces , Gingival serratia , Capnocytophaga. The aerobic bacteria in the experiment are Staphylococcus aureus , a -Streptococcus hemolyticus , Colibacillus.[Method]: The experiment materials in anaerobes test are diluted through tube doubling dilution. It is to use McFar Land turbidinmetry as 6 × 105cfu/ml to test the minimum inhibitory concentration of the compound bio-active ceramic root filling material against the anaerobes, and test the minimum bectericidal concentration. According to TMP/SMZ drug paper stip' standard, the aerobic bacteria test is to use drug paper stip method to test disinfecting action to the aerobic bacteria. The experiment materials is diluted as 1.5 × 108cfu/ml.Tt is to test the compound bio-active ceramic root filling material' disinfection to the aerobic bacteria through measuring bacterial inhibition zone.[Result]: The minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) of the compound bio-active ceramic root filling material to the anaerobes is 15.62mg/ml. The minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) is 32.25mg/ml. It is moderate sense against Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus hemolyticus. It is drug resistant against colibacillus.[Conclusion]: The compound bio-active ceramic root canal filling material has stronger disinfectant and bactericidal action to the tested bacterial.
