Bile duct cancer onset conceals, no obvious clinical manifestations, early diagnosisis difficult, and it is likely to invade surrounding blood vessels and spread to the liver. When clinically some cholangiocarcinoma patients hospitalized, the tumor is widelyseen around blood vessels or tissues around porta hepatis, and lose the opportunity ofsurgical resection. There is no effective treatment for those patients, mainly throughbiliary drainage to palliate the symptoms of jaundice, protect liver, increase survivaltime and improve quality of life. Clinically common means are PTBD, ERCP drainageof biliary stent, Roux-en-y anastomosis, but clinical effect is not satisfactory. Bile ductcancer intraductal radiofrequency ablation and stent implantation is brand new treatmentfor patients with advanced cholangiocarcinoma. The operation method is safe andeffective, and recent effect is good. This technique can effect tumor ablation, and placestent to make the bile drain. It both improves the life quality of the patients andeffectively controls the tumor, prolongs the patient’s survival time and the use time ofthe stent, offers a new effective way for the treatment of bile duct cancer, and is worthyof widely used clinically. However, because lack of developing time, the long-termcurative effect need to be observed and summarized in the later treatment and follow-upvisit.
