Research In The Change Of Cancer Patients’ TCM Symptoms Before And After Chemotherapy

Objective： Observe and research the variation of TCM (Traditional Chinese medicine) symptoms of cancer patients before and after chemotherapy, in order to providebasis of symptoms for chose the accurate treatment direction in clinical and use Chinese medicine treatment.Method： Formulating TCM symptoms survey scales on the basis of the relevant1iterature and the advisor’s clinical experience. The survey scales listed138TCM symptoms are prone to change when the cancer patients after chemotherapy。Through clinical observation about TCM symptom of31cases of cancer patients before and after chemotherapy, observing the variation of TCM single symptom, coating on the tongueand pulse condition. Preliminary discussion the varying pattern of syndrome of the patients with tumor before and after chemotherapy.Results： Found that symptoms has signiifcant change successively before and afterchemotherapy and there are，sense of suppression in the chest，feel like vomiting?vomiting, lack of power, drooping spirit, sleepy and feel heavy, speak like whisper,always feel cold in the wind，frequent micturition, constipated? anorexia，reduced appetite? diiffcult of eating，vomiting after eating，pale nail，vomiting of clear water and so on.(P<0.05)，showed statistically significant. While coughing, weakness of limbs，Usual less talkative? dry throat? Upset irritability? dry skin，dark purple tongue?coating on the tongue and pulse condition not change much， but P〉0.05，means they are not affect the life of patients Seriously or Without suiffcient attention? No signiifcant.Conclusion： TCM symptom variation was various and complex before and after chemotherapy,but the signiifcant change is Qi deifciency.
