And put forward the coping strategies for pediatric work and management in hospital.MethodsUsing the retrospective survey method, the data was from professional technical database of computer center in a hospital of linyi city, all medical records of children in pediatric were statistical analyzed from January1,2003to December31,2011, and then calculated disease constitute in different stages, and observe its dynamic changes.Results1. The number of cases was on the rise in pediatric from2003to2011. The minimum number of cases was2597in2003, and the maximum number of cases was13685in2009.2.In78496cases, the top ten major diseases were viral encephalitis, asthmatic bronchial pneumonia, premature infants, pediatric inguinal hernia, bronchial pneumonia, upper respiratory tract infection, pediatric enteritis, neonatal hypoxic ischemia disease, intussusception, and hydrocele.3. There was different in sex ratio, and male cases were more than female in9years. Among them,54409cases were male,24087cases were female, male: female=2.26:1.The top three were viral encephalitis, asthmatic bronchopneumonia and inguinal hernia in male, and the tope three were viral encephalitis, premature infant and asthmatic bronchopneumonia in female.4.In seasonal distribution, the number of hospitalized children in the summer and autumn was more than in the spring and winter, and the cases were most in the summer. The cases in the summer were highest, accounted for28.0%; the cases in the winter were minimum, accounted for21.3%. The top three were viral encephalitis, asthmatic bronchopneumonia and premature in spring and autumn. The top three were viral encephalitis, premature infant and inguinal hernia in summer, and the top three were asthmatic pneumonia, premature infants and viral encephalitis in winter.5.The change trend of pediatric cases month by month was relatively stable from2003to2011. The7897cases were highest in August, accounted for10.1%, the4544cases were lowest in February, accounted for5.8%.6.1n78496cases, the first place was viral encephalitis which was7939cases, accounted for10.1%, the second was asthmatic bronchial pneumonia (6.9%), the third was preterm infants (6.0%), and the fourth was inguinal hernia (4.9%). 7.The allergic purpura cases of children increased year by year. The allergic purpura had rose to7th place after4years from10th place before five years and the number had rose to311cases in2011from45cases in2003.8.The number of premature infants had increased, and the constitute rate accounted for6.0%.9.The incidence of neonatal hypoxic ischemia encephalopathy had a downward trend. Neonatal hypoxic ischemia encephalopathy had fallen to eighth nearly four years from second place in the5years before.Conclusion1. There was different in sex ratio, and male cases were more than female in9years.2. In seasonal distribution, the number of hospitalized children in the summer and autumn was more than in the spring and winter, and the cases were most in the summer.3. The change trend of pediatric cases month by month was relatively stable.4. The nervous system diseases, especially viral encephalitis were main diseases in a hospital pediatric of linyi city.5. The respiratory system diseases, especially asthmatic bronchitis and bronchopneumonia number had been on the rise. The composition ratio of asthmatic bronchopneumonia was6.9%.6. The allergic purpura cases had increased year by year.7. The premature cases had increased, and the proportion was6.0%.8.
