Dendrobium, a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), derives from the stems of variety Dendrobium plants. Dendrobium is widely used as clinical medicine due to its pharmacological activity. Currently, there are some precious Dendrobium commodities in the market, such as Huoshan Dendrobium, Jinchai Dendrobium, Tiepi Dendrobium, and Tongpi Dendrobium.As a abundant species, Dendrobium had complex sources possessed of morphological resemblance in the market. Many deceptive phenomena have frequently occurred on Dendrobium, and they could cause a serious impact to clinical drug safety and efficacy. Therefore, carrying out the research in identification of Dendrobium to ensure people medication security has great significance. Dendrobium is the genuine medicinal materials, whose market price is very expensive. Huoshan County as Dendrobium origin, has a considerable scale cultivation of copper D. moniliforme, D. officinale and so on. They are processed into Fengdou to sell. It is difficult to identify the Dendrobium species of fengdou using traditional methods. Microscopic identification depends on the experience of inspectors and the identification results are difficult to digitize. Physicochemical and TLC operations are complex and time-consuming. Therefore, finding a new method of rapid identification has great significance.As a new analysis technique, near infrared spectroscopy analysis is one of fast developing technlogu. Near infrared spectroscopy analysis is a green analytical technique. It has characteristics of simple, high efficiency, good precision, low cost and convenient on-line analysis, etc. We Collected100Tongpi Dendrobium of class1&2, Tiepi Dendrobium of class1&2, Huoshan Dendrobium, Dendrobium hua samples of six Dendrobium commodities. The topic research contents are listed below:Firstly, we used Antaris Ⅱ fourier transform infrared spectrometer, which had higher precision and higher resolution. On the one hand, we applied the simple discriminant analysis pattern recognition method to establish calibration model. On the other hand, we used the six kinds of calibrating samples to build PC A model, and then we applied the SIMCA pattern recognition method to evaluate the model. We investigated different spectra pretreatment method and optimized the model range to build a good model.Results showed that the two methods could satisfy the requirement of analysis, and both had strong ability of identification.Secondly, we used micro near-infrared1700spectrometer to study the classification identification.We applied SG5points+ld method as the best method of pretreatment. We used the six kinds of calibrating samples to build PCA model, and then we applied the SIMCA pattern recognition method to evaluate the model. Results showed that the model had higher recognition rate and rejection rate.This kind of miniature device is the development trend of near infrared analytical technique. Compared with the commonly used analytical instruments, and possesses the advantage of light quality, small volume, price cheap, etc. It could promote the near infrared spectroscopy analysis technology to the practical application, and could supply a new way of thinking of real-time field identification for Chinese herbal medicine.
