Objective: Discussion on proximal femoral varus osteotomy in the treatment ofchildren with developmental dislocation of the hip (DDH) in the application,To observethe effects of excessive femoral Collodiaphyseal angle in the treatment of DDH,Anddiscusses some related problems.Method: We take modified Pemberton arthroplasty treatment combined withSubtrochanteric Rotation Shortening and varus Osteotomy, dissection and diaplasis whichis assisted with function training on appropriate cases.By conducting the clinical research, wesum up the experience about evaluating postoperative function,X-ray film and three-dimensional CT, measuring the size of Collodiaphyseal angle and comparing betweenpreoperative and postoperative according to standard of perfection put forward by ZhouYongde and Ji Shijun.Compare preoperative and postoperative Collodiaphyseal angleresults and obtained the T value: T=65.68;P<0.01.Results: Among the115hips(88DDH patients)that received united arthroplastytreatment, there are84cases evaluated excellent(scores of30-26),16fine (scores of25-21),13passing(scores of20-16)and2failure(scores of15-11).The excellent and finerate is86.95%.Conclusion: Proximal femoral varus osteotomy is a effective and reliable Method toCorrect the DDH with larger Collodiaphyseal angle, which Can obviously reduce theexcessive Collodiaphyseal angle, Increase acetabular coverage of the femoral head.Restore the normal anatomy of hip joint. The right surgical operation and postoperativetreatment are crucial to reduce effectively the postoperative complications.
