Objective: This subject is to study of tongxinluo capsule on non calcifiedintervention effect of carotid atherosclerotic plaques, and in patients with carotidatherosclerotic plaque low density cholesterol levels.Method:60patients with carotid atherosclerotic plaques were randomly divided intotwo groups, treatment group30cases, given conventional medicine treatment withtongxinluo capsule;30cases of control group given conventional medicine plus placebotreatment were followed up for1year.Results: Treatment group and control group have reduce the LDL-C,IMT of CASpatients and reduce the number of plaque and carotid atherosclerosis plaque Crouseintegral action; Every aspect of the intervention, the treatment group compared withcontrol group was statistically difference (P <0.05), treatment group curative effect isbetter than the control group.Conclusion:1. Tongxinluo capsule has a stable role reversal on non calcified carotid plaques.2. Tongxinluo capsule has the function to reduce low density lipoprotein.
