Objective: Separate ursolic acid from Bazhong Gardeniaand study its fingerprint differences between the other areas of Gardenias.Methods: First,by using the L49(3)orthogonal design experiment tostudy the best extraction conditions that play an important role on theactive component of ursolic acid from Bazhong Gardenia, four factorssuch as material-liquid ratio of n-butanol、extraction time、extractiontimes and ultrasonic frequency,et al. And used the mass fraction of ursolicacid as the evaluation index, examined by5times,7times,9times thewater extraction of ursolic acid, by HPLC and ELSD for determination ofthe content of ursolic acid in order to obtain the best extraction conditionsof ursolic acid.Second,to build HPCL fingerprints of30years of Fructusfrom Bazhong Gardeniae and counted the fingerprint similarity with thedifferent areas. Results:First,the best extraction conditions by usen-butanol extract the Bazhong Gardeniae,s mainly active content ofursolic acid were as follows:Gardenia powder(20mesh) with10timesamount of n-butanol, ultrasonic extraction3times,30min each time.7times of water extraction liquid obtained ursolic acid content is higherand stabilization, geniposide and crocin I have hardly been simultan-eously measured.Second,The similarity of the fingerprint of Gardeniae from different ares was calculated, and found that the components ofGardeniae existence certain difference. Conclusion:First,through thestudy of separation process of ursolic acid of Bazhong Gardeniae,proving that the method can be used as separation of ursolic acid、genipo-side and crocin I,and provide experimental data for improving thedifferences between the active components of Bazhong Gardenia.Second,through the compared and evaluated the fingerprint of BazhongGardenia with other areas,the quality of Bazhong Gardeniae waseffectively represented.
