Empirical Study On The Third-party Evaluation Of Medical Services In China

Medical quality fully reflect the quality of the various aspects of the work of the medical institutions,with the progress of society and the improvement of living standards, people are paying more and more attention to the quality of life and health level, therefore putting higher requirements for the quality of medical services. Increased competition as well as medical malpractice and medical disputes between hospitals make the study of medical quality evaluation of great significance.In recent years,some places in our countries began to implement the third-party evaluation,at the same time, its characters and advantages are attracting more and more attention.When we study the evaluation of medical quality,we can not completely copy the conclusions abroad,but should refer to foreign evaluation method and do some empirical researches based on China’s national conditions,besides,we should sum up the progress of the third-party evaluation and examine whether it’s implementation effects are consistent with the medical care development goals in our country. There are many different types of methods to evaluate the medical quanlity,but the most widely used methods are two,the traditional government evaluation and the third-party evaluation.Most regions in our country adopt the first one,and the third-party evaluation method is widely used overseas.Various evaluation methods,both qualitative and quantitative ones will apply medical quanlity evaluation index.But there are not unified index system in the world,the existing index system has many defects,therefore the research of the medical quality evaluation has practical significance.Through studying documents and drawing the research findings at home and abroad,this paper choose Hainan province and Tianjin as the main object of study.According to the index system and with reference to the relevant literatures,the paper employs TOPSIS method to sort Hainan and Tianjin medical quality evaluation results from the year2006to2010,and then analysis the change of the medical quality after adopting the third-party evaluation.Then compare with different changes in Hainan and Tianjin,find out the pros and cons of the third-party evaluation model,At last,the paper will make a suggestion for establishing the third-party evaluation in our country.
