Objectives: To investigate the diagnostic value of the single detection of urineβ2-microglobulin (β2-MG) and serum cystatin C (CysC) and Combined detection ofboth in the neonatal with early acute kidney injury.Methods: Random selection90cases in our hospital neonatal hospitalization the ageof full-term newborns to1-7days, with an automatic biochemical analyzer detectsserum sodium (Na), serum creatinine (Cr), serum cystatin C (CysC), urinary sodium(Na), urine creatinine (Cr), urinary β2-microglobulin (β2-MG), calculate the urinaryfractional excretion of sodium (FENa) values and the urinary fractional excretion ofsodium values divided into two groups,45cases of normal control group and45casesof AKI group, compared the diagnosis performance of single and combination todetect early AKI.Results: The levels of urinary β2-MG (3.290±0.870) and serum CysC (2.373±0.856)in children with AKI were higher than those of control group urine the levels β2-MG(1.957±1.172) and serum CysC (1.046±0.396).The differences were statisticallysignificant (P <0.01).The sensitivity of urine β2-MG and serum CysC test were55.6%and75.6%in the diagnosis of AKI,respectively, the combination detection sensitivity of93.3%, significantly higher than any of the individual detection, the difference werestatistically significant (P <0.01); urine β2-MG and serum CysC was a positive correlation (r=0.484, P <0.01).Conclusion: The urine β2-MG and serum CysC may be sensitive and reliable markerfoe predicing the early diagnosis of AKI;the two joint detection can greatly improve thesensitivity of detection, and the degree of progression of the disease is important forclinical AKI early, in order to achieve early intervention, early treatment reducemortality purpose.
