Clinical Research Of"Combination Of Back-shu And Front-Mu Points"in The Treatment Of Bronchial Asthma

Objective:To observe the efficacy of the treatment on "Back-shu and Front-Mu points" acupoints combines method for alleviating the clinical efficacy of the mid-term severe asthma treatment, Evaluation acupuncture efficacy for the treatment of bronchial asthma in the clinical efficacy and its mechanism. To provide a scientific basis for the clinical treatment of bronchial asthma.Methods:31patients with mid-term severe asthma from the out-patients of 《Hospital of TCM in Jiangsu Province》 were involved in the study and randomly divided into2groups;Group Ⅰ <treatment group>:16cases and Group II<control group>:15totally31cases were recorded. In the Group I treatment group. The major acupoint selected is:BL13<fei shu> and LU1<zhong fu> coordinated with LU9<tai yuan>,LU10<yuji>, LU5<chi ze>,LU6<kong zui>, LU7<lie que>12weeks treatment would be upon requesed,3times a weeks and each session30minuts.As in Group Ⅱ<control group> Observed12weeks would be upon requested.Patients in both groups would be according to the conditions of their asthma exacerbations demand and to choose inhalation of ventolin, times and timely recording of inhalation.Research results:1. Base on ACT (asthma control test) score, comparison between the two groups,8weeks after the treatments were took. It has shown P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant2. Base on ACQ (asthma control questionnaire) score, after treatments P<0.01, There were significant differences.3. Base on AQLQ (restricted activity, symptoms, emotional function, environmental stimuli) score, compare between the two groups.●In their limitation of activity and emotional function section12weeks after the treatment were score P<0.05,The difference was statistically significant;●In Symptoms affect section8weeks and12weeks after the treatment were score P<0.01,There were significant differences;●In Environmental stimulus section P>0.05, no statistical significance.4.For Tradition Chinese MedicineTCM major symptom scoring, comparison between the two groups,4weeks and8weeks after the treatments both scored P<0.05,The difference was statistically significant; In12weeks after treatment scored P<0.01, there were significant differences.5.Compare the two groups before and after treatment of pulmonary function of FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC%, PEF, MMFF, V50, V25changes, P>0.05, the changes were scored no statistical significance.6. In both groups before and after treatment of daily intake of short-acting bronchial expansion agent, comparing the two groups, P=0.025<0.05after treatment, there is significant difference.Conclusions:1. Back-shu and Front-Mu points" acupoints combines method can improve the quality of life in patients with asthma conditions2. Back-shu and Front-Mu points" acupoints combines method proof that it can control and limited the number of asthma attacks;3. Back-shu and Front-Mu points" acupoints combines method showed no significant difference between the treatment and control group, in pulmonary function.
