Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the iatreusis that scalp acupuncture combined with point embedding therapy at back-shu and front-mu acupoints, and probe the feasibility of this method in the clinical treatment of insomnia which belonged to the type of heart-kidney imbalance. Methods:Under the guidance of stochastic principle,66 patients who satisfied our rearsh’s inclusion criteria of heart-kidney imbalance insomnia were selected and divided into experimental group and matched group at random, each group comprised 33 patients. The treatment group used the therapy of scalp acupuncture in conjunction with point embedding therapy, while the control group used the iatreusis of scalp acupuncture in conjunction with normal body acupuncture.Acupuncture was performed once a day for 30 minutes each time,7 times as a course, and point embedding therapy was performed once each 7 days,1 times as a courses of treatment, totally have 4 courses of treatment in this research. In pretherapy and post-treatment,we collect and analyze Chinese medicine syndrome scores, the total scores and component scores of PSQI and FS-14 of the included patients, and then to evaluate the efficacy of the two groups’ treatment.Results:1.After treatment, two groups’ total and each component’s score of PSQI reduced compared with prior treatment,P < 0.05;Compared with the matched group, the difference of PSQI’s aggregate score, subjective sleep quality, sleep disorders and daytime dysfunction in the treatment group of pretherapy and post-treatment changed more obvious,P < 0.05;While refered to the difference of sleep latency, sleep duration and sleep efficiency, two groups’ were similar,P > 0.05.2.After 4 courses of treatment in this research, the total and each component’s score of FS-14 of two groups were both lower than prior treatment’s,P < 0.05;we also found that experimental group’s difference of total score of FS-14 and body fatigue value which were counted before and after treatment were lower than the scores of matched group,P < 0.05;While the difference of mental fatigue value in the treatment group was similar to the control group’s,P>0.05.3.After treatment,Two groups’ scores of TCM syndrome were significantly decreased compared with prior treatment,P < 0.05;Scores of treatment group decreased more than control group,P < 0.05.4.The total effective rate of the treatment group which used the iatreusis of scalp acupuncture combined with point embedding therapy at back-shu and front-mu acupoints was 90.91%,higher than 81.82% of control group which used the iatreusis of scalp acupuncture in conjunction with body acupuncture,P < 0.05.Conclusions:1.The iatreusis that scalp acupuncture combined with point embedding therapy at back-shu and front-mu acupoints and the iatreusis of scalp acupuncture in conjunction with normal body acupuncture were both effective in the treatment of insomnia which belonged to the type of heart-kidney imbalance, and the former total effective rate was higher, curative effect was more significant.2.On the whole, both the iatreusis that scalp acupuncture combined with point embedding therapy at back-shu and front-mu acupoints and the iatreusis that scalp acupuncture combined with body acupuncture can improve the severity of insomnia, fatigue and TCM syndrome symptoms, and the former improvement effect is better in global and most part of scale, indicating that this therapy has clinical application value and is suitable for popularization.
