Evaluation Of The Quality Of Clinical Reseach And Observation On Treating The Acute Suppurative Tonsillitis With Qingrejiedu Pharyngeal Swelling Method

Objective:1.To evaluate the quality of domestic clinical research literature of Qingrejiedu, pharyngeal swelling method in treating acute suppurative tonsillitis,2.To evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of Qingrejiedu, pharyngeal swelling method with Western medicine in treating acute suppurative tonsillitis, to provide an effective treatment method and idea for clinical treatment.Methods:1To retrieval domestic clinical research literature of with the method of Qingrejiedu, pharyngeal swelling to treat cute suppurative tonsillitis in January2000-December2012domestic published through the computer, to evaluate the quality of literature accordance with the in and out of the standard.260cases that met the diagnostic criterion of the syndrome of lung and stomach Heat collected.All subjects were divided randomly into two groups, treatment group (30cases) and control group (30cases). The control group treated with Cefathiamidine and Xiyanping Infusion. The treatment group treated with Cefathiamidine and Xiyanping Infusion plus oral Chinese herbal of Qingrejiedu, pharyngeal swelling of medicine, both groups are5days for a course of treatment and symptomatic treatments with western medicine were gaved.Results:1231related literature were retrieved,and77literature were eventually included.The Meta analysis showed that the method of qingrejiedu, pharyngeal swelling to t acute suppurative tonsillitis compared with western medicine treatment, the heterogeneity test analysis, P=0.003<0.10, there is heterogeneity in literature, so use the random effects model, the result shows that the OR=2.84,95%CI (1.54,5.24), the combined effect of Z=3.34, P=0.0008<0.05),the difference was significant. Qingrejiedu, pharyngeal swelling method combined with western medicine treat acute suppurative tonsillitis compared with western medicine treatment, the heterogeneity test analysis, P=1.00<0.10, there is no heterogeneity, the result shows that the OR=6.19,95%CI (4.99,7.68), the combined effect of Z=16.56.P<0.00001. It showed that qingrejiedu, swelling method and qingrejiedu, swelling method combined with western medicine treatment to treat acute suppurative tonsillitis compared with western medicine treatment is more advantages on total effective rate treatment group is better than the control group.The quality evaluation showed that clinical study design of the included literatures have series of problems.2The group comparison on main and secondary symptoms improved between two groups before and after treatment showed that the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The comparison on improving the main symptoms after treatment between two groups showed that the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05) in improving the secondary symptoms like fever, thirst,cough and stool,it showed that the treatment group is better than the control group. The comparison on improving irritability and tongue, the difference has no significant difference(P>0.05) between the treatment group and control group.The comparison on the major symptom scores,sub-syndrome scores, total score and comprehensive therapeutic effect showed that the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the treatment group is better than the control group.Conclusion:1The Meta-analysis results about the clinical randomized controlled trials literature of qingrejiedu pharyngeal swelling method or qingrejiedu pharyngeal swelling method combined with western medicine to treat acute suppurative tonsillitis showed that the total efficiency of the treatment group than the control group does have the advantage.But the quality of literature evaluation is tip,and the literatures have problems on experiment design,so it affect the reliability of conclusions.2The method of qingrejiedu pharyngeal swelling combined with Western medicine to treat acute suppurative tonsillitis is feasibility and effectiveness,which is better than the control group on improving sore throat, swollen tonsils congestion, purulent tonsils, cough, stool, fever, thirst and comprehensive therapeutic effect.
