Objective:To detect the levels of the IL-4, IL-10, IFN-gamma, TGF-beta1in the serum andcerebrospinal fluid (CSF) with the patient’s condition of delayed encephalopathy aftercarbon monoxide poisoning(DEACMP). To explore the relationship betweenDEACMP and neuroimmunological correlation. Methods:Experiments were divided into three groups: delayed encephalopathy aftercarbon monoxide poisoning group (DEACMP), acute carbon monoxide poisoningwithout delayed encephalopathy group (ACOP) and healthy control group. Usingmethods of enzyme-linked immuno-sorbent assay (ELISA), we determined theserum levels of IL-4、IL-10、TGF-β1and IFN-γ from30patients with DEACMP,27patients with ACOP and28with healthy control. And also determined cerebrospinalfluid levels of IL-4、IL-10、TGF-β1and IFN-γ from25patients with DEACMP,23patients with ACOP and23with healthy control. Using statistical analysis comparedthe difference between three groups.Results:1. The blood level of IL-4in DEACMP was lower than the healthy controlgroup (P <0.05); ACOP group was lower than the healthy control group (P <0.05);2. The blood level of IL-10in DEACMP was lower than the ACOP group (P <0.05),the ACOP group was higher than the healthy control group (P <0.05);3. IFN-gamma levels in the blood of DEACMP group was higher than that of ACOP groupand healthy control group (P <0.05);ACOP group was higher than the healthycontrol group (P <0.05);4. TGF-β1in DEACMP group blood levels was below theACOP group and healthy control group (P <0.05);ACOP group was higher thanthe healthy control group (P <0.05);5. cerebrospinal fluid level of IL-4inDEACMP was below ACOP group and healthy control group (P <0.05);6. Il-10level in cerebrospinal fluid in DEACMP group was obviously lower than ACOP group (P <0.05);DEACMP group was lower than the healthy control group (P <0.05);7. IFN-gamma levels in cerebrospinal fluid in DEACMP group was higherthan the ACOP group (P <0.05);DEACMP group was higher than the healthycontrol group (P <0.05);8. TGF-β1level in cerebrospinal fluid in DEACMP groupwas obviously lower than the ACOP group (P <0.05), DEACMP group was lowerthan healthy controls (P <0.05);ACOP group was higher than healthy controlgroup (P <0.05).Conclusion:1、In index of blood testing, IFN-γ in DEACMP patients is significantly higherthan ACOP group and healthy controls, TGF-β1was lower than that in groupACOP and healthy controls, IL-10was significantly lower than that in group ACOP,IL-4was significantly lower than the healthy controls, Showing that the occurrenceof delayed encephalopathy after carbon monoxide poisoning was associated withneural immune mechanism of indury.2、In index of cerebrospinal fluid testingexamination, IFN-γ in DEACMP group was significantly higher than ACOPgroup and healthy controls, TGF-β1was lower than that in ACOP and healthycontrols, and blood index changes are basically the same, with basically the samechanges in blood indicators, the change of certain cytokines in the cerebrospinalfluid also reflected the onset of DEACMP associated with nerve immunity.
