Objectives Observed the changing of the IL-2, 4, 6 and IL-2R in the blood from 24 patients with Delayed after Acute Carbon Monoxide Poisoning (DEACMP) before and after treatment, at the same time, we also measured the concentration of the IL-2, 4, 6 and IL-2R in the blood from the controls and patients of Acute Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, and then investigated if they participate in the immune mechanism and lead to excessive immune response which can cause special syndrome and provide more help to clinical diagnose and treatment . Methods According to the clinical diagnosis criterion 24 patients of DEACMP were chosen and classified into two situations that weren't treated and were treated, at the same time, 20 healthy persons and 20 patients of Acute Carbon Monoxide Poisoning were chosen. 5-6millilitre blood samples were obtained from all above the persons. All blood samples were marked clearly and frozen immediately and stored for use at –70℃in a refrigerator. The concentrations of the IL-2, 4, 6 and IL-2R were measured and we also fill in the ADL, the IMCT, the HDS for the patients with DEACMP before and after they were treated, then compared them when the patients had recovered. By ELESA way we measured the concentration of IL-2, 4, 6, and IL-2R in the blood sample with Multiskan MS. Results 1. In the group of the patients with DEACMP, 7 patients recovered completely and had a job, 14 patients had low intelligence but they can take care of themselves, 3 patients had lower intelligence and they need to betaken care of. We measured the concentrations of IL-2, 4, 6 in the blood from the patients before treatment and discovered that they were significantly less than those of the patients after treatment. (P<0.01). But there wasn't significantly change between the concerntration of IL-2R in the blood from patients before treatment and after treatment. 2. The concentrations of the IL-2, 4, 6 and IL-2R in the blood from 24 patients with DEACMP before treatment were significantly less than those of the ACMP controls (P<0.05). 3. The concentrations of the IL-2, 4, 6 in the blood from 24 patients with DEACMP before treatment were significantly less than those of the controls (P<0.05). But the concentrations of the IL-2R were less than those of the controls (P<0.05). 4. The concentrations of the IL-2, 4, 6 and IL-2R in the blood from 20 patients with ACMP were significantly higher than those of the controls (P<0.05). 5. There were significant changes between the figures of the three tables of DEACMP patients before treatment and those of after treatment. 6. Little relation was discovered between the three tables and IL. Conclusion 1. The changing of the IL-2, 4, 6 in the sera from the patients with DEACMP indicates that they may participate in pathophysiological mechanisms of DEACMP. 2. The study on the concentration of IL-2, 4, 6 and IL-2R in the patients with DEACMP has been proved of fatherly the relationship of the mechanisms and immunity. It provides a reliable evidence to the diagnose and the treatment of DEACMP.
