Objective: System observed during the three years of patient follow-up,43patientswith carotid atherosclerosis in patients with plaque changes and related factors for theprevention and treatment of atherosclerosis and macrovascular disease control thinking.Methods: selected43patients with carotid atherosclerosis during3-year follow-up,simvastatin, aspirin and Differential Treatment of Chinese medicine decoction, the end ofthe follow-up, according to Crouse integral standard diminished with the plaque intoplaque progression group,18patients were given the beginning of the follow-upthe groupof25patients, were observed in the follow-up period of2groups of patients in general,clinical symptoms, and risk factors such as analysis of the correlation with changes inplaque.Results: Follow-up before and after the two groups within the IMT value, plaquenumber and plaque area were significantly different (P <0.05), suggesting that the twogroups of patients with IMT, plaque number and plaque area change Crouse score matchesthe variation.Smoking, drinking, eating partial addicted snoring and hypertension betweenthe two groups with a significant difference (P <0.05). TCM and Western medicinetreatment of two clinical symptom score, blood pressure decreased significantly (P <0.05),blood TG, TC, LDL-c, HDL-c than the follow-up to improve early during the3-yearfollow-up, decreased plaque progression group with plaque group, a significant difference(P <0.05).Conclusion: Male, smoking, drinking, diet partial addicted snoring and hypertensioncan promote CAS plaque progression, the active intervention of the above factors can bereversed or even subsided CAS plaque, doctors exhort, and patient treatment compliance tothe relevant CAS disease outcomeimportant.
