| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of post-stroke shoulder pain with Wrist-Ankle Acupuncture and Body Acupuncture therapy and to find the optimum program for clinical treatment of post-stroke shoulder pain.Method:90cases of patients were randomly divided into3groups, including group1of Wrist-Ankle Acupuncture (31cases), group2of Wrist-Ankle Acupuncture (33cases) and group of Body Acupuncture (26cases).3groups were taken body acupuncture and rehabilitation therapy, and group1were given simultaneously Wrist-Ankle acupuncture and rehabilitation therapy, group2were given Wrist-Ankle Acupuncture at first,and then given rehabilitation therapy. All patients were assessed before and after training period. The evaluating items included VAS score, ROM score, shoulder joint activity score and upper limb function score.Result:(1) After the two period of treatment, in abirritation the present efficiency total effective rate of group1was96.8%, group2was90.9%, group of body acupuncture was84.6%, the best was group1, the second was group2.(2) There is a significant improvement (P<0.05) of shoulder pain, the range of shoulder joint activity among3groups before and after the first treatment.(3) There are significant improvements (P<0.05) of shoulder pain and the range of shoulder joint activity in group1after the first course. The effection of group1are superior to that of the other groups.(4) There are significant improvements (P<0.05) of shoulder pain, the range of shoulder joint activity and the motor function of upper limbs among3groups after the second course. The effection of group1are superior to that of the other groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:Both the Wrist-ankle acupuncture and body acupuncture and simple body acupuncture are effective on post-stroke shoulder pain, the former is superior to the latter. rehabilitation therapy with Wrist-Ankle acupuncture has significant instant effect, overall curative effect of which is better. |
