The Development History And Research Status Of Bacterial Vaccine

Bacterial infectious diseases are a kind of diseases which seriouslyendangering human health, the main drugs used for the clinical treatment ofthese diseases are antibiotics, but, antibacterial drug abuse has caused arapid increase in drug resistant bacterial especially multidrug-resistantbacterial, so that it can not effectively control the infectious which becomesa problem in clinical treatment and has brought serious economic burden tothe society [1]. Bacterial vaccine can increase the resistance of pathogensin susceptible population, reduce the incidence of pathogen infection,conductive to the control of infectious diseases, so the development ofrelated bacterial vaccine has always been a research hotspot in the field.Practice has proved that the bacterial vaccine made brilliant achievementsover the past century and played an important role in preventing bacterialinfectious disease. With the continuous progress of immunology、molecular biology and other sciences, types and components of bacterialvaccine have undergone great changes, component vaccine、DNA vaccine and other new vaccines have appeared. This article makes a review on thedevelopment history and research status of bacterial vaccine.
