Patient disputes both from the development of the hospital, or from the right side ofthe effective treatment of patients, and even social harmony and stability has an importantinfluence, has become the focus of attention of society in general. Although in September2002the State Council promulgated the " Regulations on Handling Medical Accidents ",so that rule-based processing of medical malpractice, but the " Medical Malpractice "does not cover all medical disputes. Therefore, to explore the impact of patient disputes,causes and seek effective preventive measures, medical and health services for the healthydevelopment and social harmony and stability are of great practical significance.Through the use of data analysis, literature review, comparative analysis, and the useof statistics, hospital management, law knowledge of Qiqihar First Hospital patientdisputes to analyze the situation,the reasons for roughly divided into patient disputes inthree aspects: social reasons mainly with Medicare imperfect, media hype, imperfect legalsystem construction; medical side reasons behind the rule of law, preventive measuresare not effective, lack of communication, excessive pursuit of economic interests, etc.;suffering from side reasons include enhanced awareness of rights, lack of medicalknowledge.In order to solve the problems facing the medical dispute, the medical staff andhospital administrative staff, no matter how good approach, but also than the prevention,that the hospital’s medical dispute prevention mechanism is the key to effective preventionof medical disputes. Medical dispute is not a purely medical problem, has its complexsocial, psychological, economic, legal and other reasons, therefore, preventive medicaldispute is a complicated systematic project, on the one hand the government shouldincrease investment in improving health care, establishing a sound legal system,strengthen the media correct guidance, health literacy, etc.; hospitals to improvepreventive measures to strengthen the medical staff awareness, improve technology andservice levels, and timely communication with patients, etc.; patients to enhance theirlegal awareness, learning and understanding of medical knowledge and so on, as far as possible protect the legitimate interests of the patient, the doctor-patient disputes is toreduce the effective measures to establish a harmonious relationship between doctors andpatients an important guarantee.
