The Jadad score of into literature, the re are2articles3points, the rest ofthe2references to2points,5for1minute as low-quality documents. All studies have pointed outthe baseline balance to confirm, comparability. One articles mentioned a randomized, blinded andparallel-comparable method to evaluate clinical experiment designs, and two articles referred toprinciple of sectionalization from random numbers or randomization. There was one article with thegrouping coming from randomizing and double-blind method, and the remaining five articles didn’tmentioned to description of the method of generating random sequences but the random grouping. All the nine articles were included in the not intentional analysis (ITT).2.Meta analysis resultsTraditional Chinese medicine or combined traditional and western medicine on periodontitis whichin improving the gingival index(GI)and reducing the pocket probing depth(PPD) both have significant differences or differences have statistical significance.Which in improving the plaqueindex(PLI)and pocket attachment loss(PAL) both have no significant differences or differences haveno statistically significant. Conclusions After periodontal basic treatment of periodontitis with Traditional Chinesemedicine or combined traditional and western medicine treatment of periodontitis, in improving thegingival index (GI) and reducing the pocket probing depth (PPD)side effect is distinct, which effectis superior to conventional western medicine treatment.
