Clinical Research On Surgical Treat-ment With Chinese Traditional Medicine Treatment Of Degenerative Lumb-ar Spinal Stenosis

Objective: To compare the clinical outcome of the multi-segmental laminectomyfenestration and widening in the surgical treatment with Duzhong Yaotong pills ofdegenerative lumbar spinal stenosis（DLSS）and a separate application with the treatment fordegenerative lumbar spinal stenosis. To discuss the superiority of the operation with Duzhongyaotong pills in treatment of multi-segmental degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis. To explorea better approach of treatment of degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis disease, In order tofurther improve the clinical curative effect to provide the reference basis.Methods: All of60inpatients from Department No.3of Spinal Orthopaedics of GansuProvince Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, all of60inpatients from November，2011to November,2013.60cases have surgery by laminectomy fenestration and widening surgerytreatment of spinal orthopaedics for DLSS. According to random number table, all of the60inpatients were randomly and divided into treatment and control groups. Control groupusing laminectomy fenestration and widening surgery treatment. postoprative patients givenanti-inflammatory, rehydration, nutrition,nerve,and to improve bone symptomatic treatment，and guidance to patients with lower back functional exercise. Treatment group in addition tothe control group treatment, The other with Duzhong Yaotong pills in the patient lift the fastphased treatment of oral medicine, Usage:10each time,2times daily, orally,1week for aperiod of treatment, can take six course of treatment.observe the two groups before treatmentand after treatment of symptoms and signs，functions and activities and the use of visualanalogue score (VAS) and the Japanese Orthopaedics Association (JOA) standard score,Evaluating the effect of the two groups before treatment and after treatment，2weeks，4weeks，6weeks，respectively，calculated to improve the rate as the total curative effectevaluation standard.Results:The clinical research showed, multi-segmental laminectomy fenestration andwidening in the treatment of DLSS, can significantly improve the neurological symptoms ofpatients,postoprative JOA score was significantly increased, multi-segmental laminectomyfenestration and widening in the treatment improve Intermittent claudication symptoms.operation segments had significant difference between the influence on VAS and JOA scoring the excellent and good rates.
