All of thosepatients prescribed Dual antiplatelet therapy (Aspirin100mg qn and Clopidogrel75mg qd) formore than7days. VerifyNow-P2Y12was used to estimate the function of platelet. And the resultof P2Y12reaction units(PRU) which is more than240(240contained) was Defined as clopidogrelresistance. The distribution of P2Y12genetic polymorphisms between group with Clopidogrelresistance and NON-Clopidogrel resistance was than discussed.Results: All of the enrolled patients were separated into H1/H1type (GG, as a total of271patients) and H2carrier (contains GT and TT, as a total of7patients) by three differentpolymorphisms(type of GG, GT and TT) of the gene G52T. The frequencies of genotypes ofP2Y12were in agreement with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium in my study. There were nosignificant differences between group with clopidogrel resistance and group with Non-clopidogrelresistance. As a result, The incidence of clopidogrel resistance of the group of H2carriers is higherthan that of the group of H1/H1(P=0.0002). Single nucleotide polymorphisms of G52T does havecorrelation with clopidogrel resistance.Conclusions: Clopidogrel resistance may has complex mechanism, and no unified approachcan be applied to detect it. One of the effective way is VerifyNow-P2Y12which has relatively highaccuracy and is designed to detect clopidogrel resistance.
