Objective To examine the influence of diameter liposuction needle to fat particlesviability and determine what is the optimal liposuction needle for autologous fattransplantation. Methods Under conventional tumescent anesthesia, to detect the instant change ofviability of fat obtained by2mm,3mm,4mm(diameter) liposuction needle, under the samepatient, same syringe (20ml), same fat level, we put the fat into glucose transportation test,Trypan blue dyeing. the methods are as follows: to divide every group of fat into12samples(5ml fat/sample), incubate all samples for one hour in10ml DMEM whichcontained glucose, and than examine the changes of glucose consistency in DMEM whichrepresented samples’ glucose transportation quantity, in other words, fat viability. theglucose transportation quantities of every group were analyzed and compared. To detect thechanges of viability of fats obtained by needles with different diameter. Than the fat weredigested by Type1Collagenase into suspension cells, which dyed by Trypan blue, thanobserved under microscope.result The glucose transportation quantity of fat particles decreased with the diameter ofliposuction needles(P<0.05). The survival rate of fat obtained by2mm,3mm and4mm are87.5±2.6%;92.3±2.1%;96.6±2.3%,which have statistically significant. Conclusion The bigger diameter of the liposuction needles were used, the higher viability you will get.
