Objective:To investigate the related risk factors of postoperative hospital acquiredpneumonia in patients with lung cancer, together with the distribution of the pathogens andthe pathogens’ resistance to common antibacterial agents, and propose the correspondingpreventive and therapetic methods. Methods:Retrospective analysis was used to study thecharacters of infection in68patients with hospital acquired pneumonia in the departmentof thoracic in the first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang Mdical University from June2003toJune2012.The data was processed by the software SPSS17.0.Results:(1)Related factorsanalysis showed that the follow8factors maybe the independent risk factors:elder,DM,COPD,long-term history of heavy smoking, long term of using inhibitory acid agent, long timeof surgery, long duration of mechanical ventilation, incision pain apparently.(2)64.79%ofthe pathogens were the Gram-negative bacteria which mainly consist of pneumoniae, acinetobacter baumannii, escherichia coli, pseudomon as aeruginosa, cloacae, and which washighly sensitive to imipenem, and then cefoperazone/sulbactam,piperacillin/sulbactam.22.54%of the pathogens were the Gram-positive bacteria which mainly consist of staphylococcus aureus, staphylococcus epidermidis.and which was highly sensitive to vancomycin andteicoplanin. The rest12.68%of the infection was caused by different kinds of fungi whichmainly consist of Candida albicans, and which was highly sensitive to fluconazol.Conclusion:(1)elder,DM,COPD,long-term history of heavy smoking, long term of using inhibitoryacid agent, long time of surgery, long duration of mechanical ventilation, incision painapparently were the independent risk factors, making effective preventive methods for therelated risk factors may reduce the incidence of hospital acquired pneumonia.(2)Moreattentions should be paid to the pathogenic species, and during clinical therapy withantibiotics, antibiotics should be selected according to the results of drug sensitivity tests.
