Objective To explore occupational stress, family functioning, social support and the present situation of the quality of life and its influencing factors of the nurse in Lu’an city, investigate the relationship between nurses’ occupational stress and quality of life. By understanding the quality of life status and its influencing factors of the nurse in Lu’an city, for the development of health care policy and medical and health institutions to provide reference basis for improving the quality of the nurse’s life.Methods Adopt the method of cluster sampling, in July2012to August,extracting the nurses on-the-job of3hospitals in Lu’an city as the object of investigation, according to the different random515nurses at the hospital. Unified distribution, unified recycling, and ultimately recycling501questionnaires, the overall recovery rate was97%, among them of500valid questionnaires; the valid recovery rate was99%. Inclusion criteria: working more than1year, already obtained the nurse qualification certificate. Using the stressor scale, family function scale, social support scale and quality of life rating scale into the evaluation. Using statistical software for data this paper aims at the description, test, analysis of variance and multivariate stepwise regression analysis.Results1. The nurse age of all the interviewees between19to53years old, and the average age is28.1±7.2years old. The score for quality of life of the nurse in Lu’an city is lower than the national norm scores. In the dimensions of quality of life, the highest score is physiology88.8±14.4, with the lowest scores is emotional functions only48.8±42.2.2. Using the single factor analysis of variance, according to the results of nurses’job stress, interpersonal communication, social psychological stress, family functioning, social support and quality of life, life quality of all have a certain degree of correlation between each dimension (P<0.05).Multiple regression analysis showed that factors that affect physiological functions including working pressure, learning and promotion; Factors that affect physiological functions including working pressure, working environment, the medical relations, the relationship between nurses and patients, nurse and nursing, social status and expectations, learning and promotion, care and be taken care of; Factors that affect body functions including working pressure, working environment, the medical relations, the relationship between nurses and patients, nurse and nursing, social status and expectations, learning and promotion, care and be taken care of; Factors that affect health including working pressure, working environment, the medical relations, the relationship between nurses and patients, nurse and nursing, learning and promotion; Factors that affect energy including working pressure, working pressure of objective factors, work environment, medical relations, the relationship between nurses and patients, nurse and nursing, social status and expectations, take care and be taken care of; Factors that affect social functions including medical relations, the relationship between nurses and patients, nurse and nursing, social status and expectations, learning and promotion; Factors that affect emotional functions including working pressure, working pressure of the objective factors, work environment, the medical relations, the relationship between nurses and patients, nurse and nursing, social status and expectation; Factors that affect mental health including working pressure, working environment, the medical relations, the relationship between nurses and patients, nurse and nursing, social status and expectation, take care and be cared for. Nurse stress related stressors, at all levels and negative correlation between the eight dimensions of quality of life, there is statistical significance.3. Through the correlation analysis of family and social support and life quality,We conclude that family functioning, social objective support, subjective social support and social exploitation degree, respectively, and has a certain degree of correlation between quality of life. And negative correlation function and quality of life, family and social support and life quality were positively correlated.Conclusion The nurse’s quality of life in Lu’an city is not optimistic, high degree of working pressure, family function, social support and health quality is corresponding to be lower, and there is negative correlation between all aspects. To nurse this study presents some policy Suggestions on the improvement of life quality, relevant departments and the relevant management personnel should take different measures to improve and enhance the nurse’s quality of life, and this study also explores the research direction of this topic, hope to be able to enable the study to further, so that the topic was perfected system of research.
