Object:By comparing the differences in patients’and nurses’ cognitive of the enviro-nment stressors in intensive care unit and analysisingf the hospitalization of patientswith environment stress level and the level of security, to take reasonable measures toreduce the stressors could be controlled,thus improve the patient’s ability to adapt inorder to achieve the best therapeutic effect.Methods: April2012-August the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University ofMedicine, ICU departments, the neurosurgical intensive care unit and cardiothoracicsurgery intensive care unit hospitalization the sober patients and nurses directlyinvolved in their care77each are the objects of study, the study is conducted by use ofGeneral questionnaires, Intensive Care Unit Environmental Stressor Scale (ICUESS)and Security Questionnaire (SQ) questionnaire. SPSS13.0software and descriptivestatistical analysis, t test, analysis of variance, spearman correlation coefficient andmultiple linear regression analysis are used to analysis data.Results:1Nurses evaluate patients perceived stress levels are higher than the patient-’s self-evaluation (t=9.15p <0.01), and the two groups of subjects ICUESS scores ofthe patient group are lower than the nurse group (p <0.01).2. Caused by differencesare mainly due to the patient’s age, departments, the nurse’s age and the nurse’s work-ing years;3. Patients perceive are the main source of stress in the intensive care unitenvironment "miss my family"," Only seeing family and friends for a few minuteseach day"," Not being able to sleep ""Not being in control of yourself" and"Beingrestricted by tubes/lines".This five stressors ranked respectively in the nurses1,2,13,18.Conclusion: Evaluation of nurses environmental pressures greater extent than thepatient’s own assessment, indicating that the patient’s perception of stress has attractedthe attention of nurses, help nurses to take effective measures to minimize the patient’spressure points.
