Objective: To explore characteristics of gastric cancer in our hospital, analysis the clinicalpathological features of different kinds of ethnic patients with gastric cancer, and provides referencesfor the prevention and control in gastric cancer.Methods: A retrospective analysis of2373patients withgastric cancer in the tumor hospital of xinjiang between January2007and December2011, to exploreits clinical pathological features.Results: The high onset age of these2373cases of patients who havegastric cancer was61-70, mean age61.1±11.7years old; Male patients,1889cases (79.6%); Career isgiven priority to farmers, a total of1060cases (44.7%); Poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma, a totalof965cases of the most common (40.7%); Ⅲ period is most common in patients with gastric cancer,917cases (34.5%). Most distribution in patients with various nationalities, the han nationality, a total of1475cases (62.1%), Uighur,609cases (25.7%),150cases are Kazak (6.4%),139cases (5.8%) in otherethnic groups. The age, sex, occupation, alcohol and tobacco, infection site, clinical stage of ethnichistory of gastric cancer havedifference statistical significance (P﹤0.05). The aspect of family historyand Hp infection of gastric cancer have no statistically significant (P﹥0.05). The onset of parts at thebottom of the cardia gastric in Uygur, kazak are more to see, The rate of kazak cardiac stomach atbottom was51.3%, Uighur was39.6%;Followed by gastric body, han have a high rate in distal,accounted for40.7%, then by gastric body, the national clinical stage have been Ⅲprimarily.Conclusion: In this study our stomach illness cases showed aincreasing trend year by year,patients of gastric cancer came from northern xinjiang.Patients of Han with gastric cancer, gastriccancer, ethnic differences on the uighurs, have the high risk of partial, late clinical stage, variousnationalities suggest poorer prognosis, early diagnosis needs to be improved.
