Objective: through investigation on characteristics of the cervical cancer and cervicalintraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) patients, the difference of clinical data and the pathologicalfeatures between patients with different regions and nationalities in xinjiang tumorhospital, provide the basis for prevention and treatment of cervical cancer in Xinjiangregion.Methods:Retrospective analysis is conducted on the disease characteristics,clinical data and pathological features of3805cases with cervical cancer and1476caseswith cervical intraepithelial neoplasia patiens in Xinjiang tumor hospital from2007to2011.Results:1. Cervical cancer patients: main ethnic group was Uygur,55.82%; themain region was the Southern Xinjiang55.96%; the main population age of onset wasmainly between the ages of40to60years old (63.26%), the average age of onset was50.16±10.89years old; major disease groups were farmers and housewives,72.74%; themajor infection group education level were the primary level and below,61.31%;mainlyclinical stage and advanced stage IIB (2411cases,63.36%), stage IIA or early stage1176cases (30.91%); the main pathological type was the squamous cell carcinoma,93.46%; theoutside the gross morphology of Health (69.49%) and ulcer or erosion (17.48%) was themain type; the main treatment was Chemoradiotherapy and surgery, each accounted for41.21%and42.81%;The main complaint including contact bleeding after sexualintercourse(19.74%), irregular vaginal bleeding(20.4%), vaginal discharge (8.86%) weredominated; The mean disease duration was6.73±7.21months; average marriage agewere18.95±3.45years, the average age of first birth was20.65±2.73years, the averagenumber of pregnancy was4.94±2.53times and the average delivery times was3.75±2.46.2.CIN patients: the main ehtnic group was dominated by the Han,76.90%; the dominated area was northern Xinjiang,76.83%; the dominated population age of onsetwas mainly between from36to45years old (52.44%);the average age was41.79±8.20years old; mainly the occupational workers and cadres,63.69%; educational level washigh school or above the junior college level,84.21%.3. The clinical data between Uyghur-Han ethnic group, the southern and northern regions of patients had the statisticallysignificant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion: The incidence of cervical cancer and CINin the XinjiangTumor Hospital had significant distribution characteristics with significantregional, ethnic, age, occupation, culture, socio-economic status. The early marriage,premature birth, multiple pregnancy, prolific cervical cancer risk factors’ exposure wereobvious. The northern Xinjiang areas was dominated Han ethnic group with highereducational level, occupations with cadres and workers was the crowd of cervical cancerand CIN with found early diagnosis and treatment, and there is a new trend with thesocio-economic development, the screening system the crowd perfect, self-care awarenessenhanced cervical cancer and CIN in patients with onset characteristics and clinical andpathological features gradually in recent five years; except that, the characteristics of thedisease, the clinical and pathological features had a significant difference betweenSouth-North Xinjiang, Uyghur-Han ethnic group patients; Uygur patients with cervicalcancer, and the southern Xinjiang region of cervical cancer patients with a variety of riskfactors exposure becomes more significant. These results will provide for the data on theprevention and treatment of cervical cancer prevention strategies in the future.
