Hunan GP Analysis And Development Strategies

Objective:GP as a major general medical practitioners, community health services are the backbone of the best primary health care providers, but also the health care system the best gatekeepers. However, an insufficient number of general practitioners, the quality is not high, has become a constraining the development of community health services is a major "bottleneck." Comprehensive understanding of the status of the general practitioner in Hunan Province, seeking to develop countermeasures, creating a high-quality GP team without delay. This study looks at Hunan grassroots level, to create a qualified general practitioner team to study the main line, the survey GP situation, assess the effectiveness of training general practitioners and found problems, propose solutions to this problem, in order to explore the general practitioner team building the model, improve GP system to provide a reference.Methods:In this study, a large literature, based on the use of questionnaires, personal interviews, expert consultation, community health service institutions as samples, reorientation training as a general practitioner evidence, the quantitative research and qualitative research phase combination of Hunan GP to discuss the status and retraining.Results:The study found:Hunan GP team overall low education, low job title, skill level is not high, a serious lack of qualified personnel is hard to adapt to community health services "Six in One" feature needs; Hunan initially established GP training and retraining system to meet the basic needs of the general practitioner training, training, work and achieved certain results. But there are still goals are not clear, due to rigorous evaluation, the system should be improved, the need to strengthen management and other issues.Conclusion:The GP system is a system which needs government-led, multilateral cooperation, the proposed upbringing network, improve quality control system, and actively guide the government to increase investment in public finances, strengthening the teaching staff, enhanced training job evaluation, and fully General Medicine will play a role in the formation of Hunan characteristics with general medical education and training systems, creating an excellent GP team, to better meet the people on the Sunshine demand for health services.
