Objective:the main study is on the influence of regulating qi-flowing for strengthening spleen on gastric emptying and intestinal propulsion function of wistar rats. Methods:Establishment of animal model and observation target:100healthy wistar rats with half males and half females should be bought, and the weight is between100grams and200grams.50wistar rats are used for gastric emptying, and50for intestinal propulsion. According to the gender and weight, there are5groups distributed at random, and each group contains10wistar rats. The groups respectively are:Model group, No-treatment control group (received physiologic saline), positive control group (received mosapride suspension), the first group for regulating qi-flowing for strengthening spleen (high-dose group), the third group for regulating qi-flowing for strengthening spleen (low-dose group). Bitter cold of Purgation and noise stimulation produced gastrointestinal motility disorders animal models。After5days with the standard feeding, the wistar rats of5groups are drenched once a day with prescriptions of regulating qi-flowing for strengthening spleen. The prescriptions are on the high, and low doses of4ml/200g, lml/200g. Each wistar rat in the western medicine group takes1ml mosapride suspension. The wistar rats in no-treatment control group are drenched with2ml physiologic saline. The wistar rats in each group should be drenched for4weeks. Each of the fasting animals in gastric emptying group at24hours before dosing is drenched with2ml charcoal powder mixed suspension. Each wistar rat in intestinal propulsion group is drenched with2ml semisolid paste. The animals are put to death with taking off the cervical vertebra after30minutes. With the celiac anatomy stomach and intestine are taken out. The gastric emptying ratio and intestinal propulsion ratio are recorded respectively.Result:4,0,1,0, wistar rats in no-treatment control group, Rats were ultimately the result analysis:20no-treatment control group,20western medicine group,19high-dose group,201ow-dose group,16Model group. As a result,1) Body weight:Model group significantly reduced body weight compared with the normal group (P<0.05), Normal group and Chinese high-dose group was no significant difference (P>0.05), Western medicine group reduce the high dose group than in the normal group and Chinese medicine (P<0.05).2) Gastric emptying rate:the ratios of traditional Chinese medicine groups and the western medicine groups are superior to no-treatment control group (P<0.05), and the traditional Chinese medicine high-dose group is similar with western medicine group (P>0.05).3) Intestinal propulsion ratio:there is no obvious difference between the high-dose traditional Chinese medicine group and the western medicine groups (P>0.05). Compared with the traditional Chinese medicine groups and western medicine groups, the ratio of no-treatment control group is lower obviously (P<0.05).Conclusion:the functions of gastric emptying and intestinal propulsion of wistar rats on nutritional semi-solid food are improved by the prescription of regulating qi-flowing for strengthening spleen. They are Significant recovery of gastrointestinal motility.
