Objectives:To understand the basic status quo of social capital of the left-behind children’s guardians and analyze their guardians’community present situation of health service needs, demands and utilization in Yanbian region, the aim is to explore the internal relations between the social capital and health services needs, demands, utilization among the left-behind children’s guardians of the Yanbian region.Methods:This study belongs to correlation research of non-experimental research,using multi-stage stratified cluster sampling method, choose12schools in Yanbian area:six are Korean nationality schools and the rest are china nationality schools.Of3900total questionnaires,3039of them are used,with an effective of77.9%. Using questionnaire and interview method, the tools contain the self-designed general situation questionnaire, the social capital measurement scale of American scholar Norman Puhuofu, the scale to evaluate the use of national health services. Use mean and percentage to describe general situation and health service need, demand and utilization of left-behind children’s guardians; use mean and standard deviation to describe the social capital condition of left-behind children’s guardians; For factors that affecting the left-behind children’s guardians’social capital we use t test and single factor analysis; For left-behind children’s guardians’influence factors of health service needs, demands and utilizations we use X2test;The impact of social capital to health services use the binomial Logistic regression analysisResults;1.The total object is3039, with1030left-behind children’s guardians, accounted for33.9%, among them the majority is mother or grandmother, mother accounted for38.6%, grandmother is31.7%. Most objects are between40to60-year-old, accounted for44.0%, give priority to the Korean ethnic composition, accounted for82.9%.Left-behind children’s guardians are most concentrated in the junior middle school and high school.Most of the left-behind children’s guardians are retired or unemployed. Left-behind children’s guardian have their own basically fixed income.Health insurance form is given priority to basic medical insurance of urban employees; urban population is more than the countryside. 2.The average score of social capital of left-behind children’s guardians is35.17±4.481, the average score of mutual benefit and social support is10.68±3.435, the average score of social participation is8.32±1.769, the average score of neighborhood cohesion is6.42±1.459, the average score of trust and security is5.24±0.946, the average score of interpersonal relationships is2.11+0.393. Different social demographic characteristics in the social differences, the guardian for his father’s social capital is higher than others (P<0.05), the guardian for social capital of male was obviously higher than that of female (P<0.01), the Korean has higher social capital than the han nationality (P<0.01), the higher culture degree of left-behind children’s guardians, the higher social capital they have(P<0.01), the higher economic income, the more health insurance, the better housing condition, the higher social capital they have (P<0.01).3.In survey, self-reported daily behavior has health problem account for34.9%of the total people; moderate nervous anxiety and tension account for8.8%, life is not satisfactory account for5.2%, moderate and severe life burden is24.1%, the average score of health self-evaluation is66.6points. In this paper, the total number of left-behind children’s guardian is1030, of them623are ill, the prevalence was60.5%, the grandparents monitoring a higher prevalence than others (X2=8.178, P<0.05);As the growth of the age, the guardian of prevalence showed a growing trend (X2=16.126, P<0.01);Guardian farmers with new medical insurance have a significantly increased prevalence (X2=17.333, P<0.01);the guardian live in bungalows have a higher incidence (X2=10.376,P.01).of623ill people,509of them have seen doctors,account for81.7%; of1030people,137people went to the hospital, and the hospitalization rate was13.3%. Korean nationality have a higher hospitalization rate than the han nationality (X2=8.191,P<0.01);the larger the age is, the higher hospitalization rate is(X2=14.189, P<0.01).4.Binomial Logistic regression showed that social capital, nationality, type of housing, networking is protection factors for health service, age is a risk factor. Social capital can promote health service need, demand and utilization.Conclusions:1.The total survey objects are3039,left-behind children’s guardians are1039,account for33.9%.The left-behind status is relatively serious, which can not be ignored.2. Left-behind children guardians’social capitals status and influencing factors: the research has shown that the guardians’ status of social capitals is low in overall level, and gender, nationality, education, occupation, income, health insurance, the nature of the household register, housing types,are the main influencing factors of the guardian of social capital.3. The health services utilization among left-behind children’s guardians and influencing factors:the amount of the guardians’health service needs are large,but the degree of health service and utilization are low. Age, gender, income, housing types are the main influencing factors towards the health service utilization.4. Left-behind children guardians’social capitals’influence to there health service:a binomial Logistic regression shows social capital is negatively correlated with the need of the health services, which had a great influence on it, is a protective factor to the need of the health services.However,social participation positively correlated with the health service demand and utilizations, which is a protective factor, also have important influence to health service utilization.
