Antler of sika deer(Cornu Cervi pantotrichum) is a valuable kind of traditional Chinese medicine, which with highly medicinal value. As a kind of edible,whether the antler play a role in the blood pressure is not very clear, especially for the people in hypertensive population.This study is mainly to study the Composition of Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum,Blood Pressure and other Physiological FunctionsTest one:With conventional methods to analysis Antler of sika deer, The results are as follows:moisture6.87%, crude protein54.88%, crude fat2.46%, ash32.07%; The extract content about the early velvet antler of sika deer is respectively:water extract content10.81%, alcohol extraction content2.29%, ether extraction content1.36%; The trace element content from the early velvet antler of sika deer is respectively:Ca195340μg/g,P71700μg/g,Na7066μg/g,K2476μg/g,Mg3443μg/g,Mn5.81μg/g,Fe176.63μg/g,Zn66.93μg/g,Cu8.61μg/g; The Ca/P about the early velvet antler of sika deer is2.72.Test2:Effects on rats normal blood pressure:the trial is to Wistar rats as experimental object,20weight only200±20g of Wistar rats. The blood pressure was measured using a BP-6noninvasive blood pressure measurement instrument. For rats blood pressure were measured before and after test. And drug delivery two weeks later, the results of the control group,200mg/kg group,400mg/kg group,800mg/kg group are:(117.47±1.15)(mmHg),(116.61±2.29)(mmHg),(117.50±3.34)(mmHg),(115.54±2.32)(mmHg) and drug delivery four weeks are:(116.63±3.94)(mmHg),(116.54±2.45)(mmHg),(117.68±2.22)(mmHg),(116.74±3.24)(mmHg).The results showed that:1group (blank), and the other three have no significant difference (P>0.05), each group before administration and administration within2weeks,4weeks had no significant difference (P>0.05). In the scope of the test design,the consumption and consumption time of velvet antle at the test have no effect on the blood pressure of rats. Compared with the control group, The results of the immune test are as follows:The spleen index of200mg/kg group,(29.46±2.59)(mg/10g),there is significant difference (P<0.05): The spleen index of800mg/kg group,(34.14±2.92)(mg/10g), The difference is significan (P<0.01); Compared with the control group, the thymus index of the control group is (6.77±1.11)(mg/10g) and the results of the400mg/kg group,800mg/kg group are (10.04±1.91)(mg/10g) and(10.64±2.14)(mg/10g), compared with the control group there are significant difference (P<0.05).Test3:The effect of velvet antler on nephrogenic hypertension of Wistar rats.1. The renal hypertensive rats (RHR) preparation of one-kidney and one-clip (1K1C) renovascular hypertension animal mode1,20preparations together. With the RHR lavage for the velvet antler and Measuring the blood pressure a week later,the results of the control group,200mg/kg group,400mg/kg group,800mg/kg group are:(175.0±4.24)(mmHg),(176.7±4.55)(mmHg),(176.6±8.03)(mmHg),(177.6±7.23)(mmHg) and measuring the blood pressure two week later,the results of four groups are:(171.2±6.76)(mmHg),(174.1±5.47)(mmHg),(171.2±6.76)(mmHg),(173.2±5.56)(mmHg).The results showed that:Before the delivery, drug delivery a week and two weeks,compared with test groups and the control group, changes in the blood pressure are not obvious, have no significant difference (P>0.05). In the scope of the test design,the consumption and consumption time of velvet antle at the test have no effect on RHR.
