Objective:The topics at home and abroad to learn from the experience of clinical rational use of drugs, the clinical rational use of drugs for the domestic problems in the aspect of constructing a computer network system of rational use of drug in the clinic, also be used in the clinic for research. To design the software based on network to analyze use of all drug by statistics indexes of medicine in hospital. Results The software can provided an effective means for instruct in and monitoring use of drug in the clinic. Conclusion To analyze and appraise using drug rationally by computer software is a practicable and effective mean. Effectively improve the hospital in order to achieve rational drug use, to maximize the "patient-centered" health care purposes. Carried out by the specific application is expected to make rational use of drugs can significantly increase the level, and enhance the level of rational use of drug in hospitals.Methods:Through the investigation, inquiry, follow-up of clinical experts, physicians and pharmacists of irrational drug use present situation and the reason. Select from August2011to November2011period, a large3A-level hospital treatment and the application of Prescription Automatic Screening System (PASS) in patients for the experimental group; the same time, drawn out in the information database from August2010to November2010did not use PASS in patients compared with the control group. The SPSS13.0and Excel2007statistical software for data analysis.Results:After the application of monitoring system in rational drug, medical defect rate of the experimental group decreased by6.93%than the control group,the incidence of unqualified prescription in the experiment group decreased by6.27%than the control group, the incidence of the problem in doctor’s advice of the experiment group was reduced by3.20%than the control group, the proportion of the drug accounts in the total medical expense was5.21%lower than the control group. THe P value of the test is less than0.05, with statistical significance, suggesting a signif icant difference between the two groups.Conclusion:This paper summarized the application background, value and mode of clinical rational drug use monitoring system platform, and discussed the main effect of monitoring platform with practice. Through comparative analysis, the study verified the level of quality control of pharmaceutical promotion. The network of rational use of drug provided an effective means for instructing and monitoring use of drug in the clinic. PASS promoted drug use standardized, scientific and reasonable. PASS increased drug use reasonable indicators, reducing the incidence of unqualified prescriptions, making irrational use of drugs the proportion of the cost share of the total cost of medical treatment significantly reduced. Through the development and the establishment of a complete set of management models to rationalize the use of drugs to effectively monitor and control, achieved to reduce the burden on patients to improve the level of the hospital rational use of medicines to achieve the "patient-centered" target. In order to further regulate the drug conduct medical staff to further improve efficacy and reduce adverse reactions and improve the level of clinical treatment drugs provides a useful reference. PASS has become an indispensable means for hospital management and clinical drug use in that it can provide support for the data analysis of clinical rational drug use, improve the level of clinical rational drug use, standardize the medical behavior and improve the treatment quality.
