Study On The Construction Of Information System In Beijing Bo’ai Hospital

With the rapid development of modern science and technology, information managementhas already been applied to various fields, which makes the way of life of human being changesin a revolutionary way. The hospital information system based on IT technology has alsoprogressed rapidly. It starts to play an indispensable role in hospital management, control anddecision making. On the basis of fully study the research results and practice summary of thehospital information system at home and abroad, focused on the problems and insufficiencyappeared during the informatization process, this topic states the construction situation and levelof reality of targeted hospital information system, and analyzes the existing problems, and thenon the basis of discussing solving problems, accordingly put forward a set of hospitalinformation system suitable for Beijing Bo’ai Hospital, establishing and perfecting the hospitalinformation system construction system suitable for hospital work requirements. This paperstrives to make its own contribution for domestic medical treatment information systemconstruction development direction and ideas through the research of this topic.Based on scientific management, competitive strategy theory, reengineering theory,resource-based theory of classical management theory, combined with access to relevant dataand other theoretical construct theory, this paper aiming at the problems of actual situation ofBeijing Bo’ai Hospital, the situation of subsystem meeting demand and each system businessprocess to make practical analysis. The paper analyzes the problems of existing system aiming atthe existing system function requirement situation, business growing demand, key businessprocess, electronic medical record system construction, settings of organizations and departmentsof Beijing Bo’ai Hospital. The specific issues are: a. The system function is unsound, especiallythe information system centered on electronic medical record is imperfect. b. Due to the differentsubsystems purchase time, the integrating capability of existing system is not good, the resourcesharing rate is low, thus each department cannot get useful information in time. c. The dataprovided by system is incomplete, some part still needs traditional manual mode. The system iseasily crashes for its low-security. d. The design functions of existing systems cannot meet theneeds of the hospital business growth.To solve these problems, this paper made a plan for the new system. Specifically includingthe following aspects: Firstly, we made planning for the target of information system, and analyzed from the organization mission and strategy planning of the hospital to know and masterthe information systems planning objectives. Then, we planned the functions of the new system,mainly centered on EMR. And on the basis of this, we complete and reconstruct for the keyprocess. Though the current plan is basically feasible, it still needs to be further improved.Because the lack of time.
