| Purpose:To observe syndromes and long-term ECG of improvement in weak heart yang type of palpitations patients By Bo Xin Tong-soft capsules, evaluating Bo Xin Tong-soft capsules of clinical efficacy in the treatment of heart yang the appetite-type palpitations.Methods:97cases of arrhythmia patients were chosen from inpatient department of Wuhan Integrative Medicine Hospital among September2011to October2012,and all the cases were referenced the "TCM Syndrome Diagnostic efficacy standards" and "Chinese medicine clinical research guidelines" about Yang weak type the palpitations of diagnostic standard perform. The97patients who had met the inclusion criteria were randomized,divided into Bo Xin Tong-soft capsule group of48patients (Referred to as the treatment group) and a control group of49patients. Treatment group on the basis of the conventional antiarrhythmic western medicine to give treatment with Bo Xin Tong-soft capsule,2capsules, Three daily,treatment for four weeks; Control group of49patients were treated with conventional antiarrhythmic western medicine for4weeks. The improvement of the TCM syndromes and the long-range ECG and other indicators will be observed in two groups of patients for before and after treatment, and evaluate its clinical efficacy.Results1、To compare symptom scores of the two groups of patients before and after treatment:Before treatment, symptom scores of the two groups of patients were no significant difference (P>0.05);Clinical symptom scores of the two groups of patients after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment (P<0.01) and Treatment group is better than the control group (P<0.05).2、Comparison of the TDR value in two groups of patients, Before and after treatment:Before treatment, the TDR values of the two groups were no significant difference (P>0.05); After treatment, the TDR values of the two groups of patients were significantly lower than before treatment (P<0.01); The treatment group was better than the control group (P<0.01).3、Comparison of the PAF value in two groups of patients, Before and after treatment:Before treatment, the PAF values of the two groups were no significant difference (P>0.05); After treatment, the PAF values of the two groups of patients were significantly lower than before treatment (P<0.01); The treatment group was better than the control group (P<0.01).4. Comparison of the effect on patients with different types of arrhythmia:Before treatment, two different types of arrhythmia patients, no significant difference (P>0.05);After treatment, two different types of arrhythmia patients was significantly reduced and the treatment group was better than the control group (P<0.01). 5、Comparison of the total effective on two groups of patients with cardiac arrhythmias:in treatment group, After treatment,9(18.75%)cases were cured;15(31.25%) cases were marke dly;21(43.75%) cases were effective;3(25%) cases were invalid; the total efficiency of93.75%. in Control group, After treatmen t,6(12.24%) cases were cured;12(24.49%) cases were markedly;17(34.69%) cases were effective;14(28.57%) cases were invalid; the total efficiency of71.43%. The total effective rate of treatme nt group was better than the control group (P<0.05).6、safety evaluation of two groups of patients:There was not adverse events during the treatment; safety evaluation of two groups of patients was Class I and better compliance, during the experiment. after treatment, there were not any new exception, during blood, urine, stool, and liver and kidney function, electrolytes and so on in Safety evaluation of97patients.ConclusionsBo Xin Tong-soft capsules is a tong Yang’s Chinese medicine preparation, on the basis of conventional therapy, it can improve the clinical efficacy of palpitation with the type of weak heart yang and significantly improve clinical symptoms, safe and effective. The regulation of TDR and PAF may be the mechanism. |
