Glechoma longituba (Nakai) Kupr is aerial parts of perennial herb of labiatae, taste spicy, slightly bitter, slightly cold, owned by the liver, kidney, bladder through. Efficacy is dampness, detoxify, swelling. Suitable for hot shower, shilin, hot and humid, jaundice, sore carbuncle swelling, bruises etc.Simultaneous determination of multi-component content about flavonoids and organic acid of different origin and different parts has not been reported yet. The comparative study of triterpene acids of different origin and different parts was seldom reported. The study of volatile constituents has been reported, but a number of different habitats volatile chemical composition of GC-MS has not been reported. Therefore this subject systematic comparativily study on flavonoids, organic acids, the triterpene acids, and volatile of different origin and different parts. After the research relatively complete of Glechoma. longituba (Nakai) Kupr related chemical composition, the glechomae herbs in Jiangxi Nanchang has been as the research object. The flavonoids and organic acid had been verified by HPLC-MS. The extraction efficiency of flavonoids and organic acid as an indicator, to clear its variation by the single factor experiment. The best pre-treatment methods of flavonoids and organic acids is using80%methanol,30times the volume of extracting for45minutes, extracted once a time, we found that the content of same ingredients in different origins is quite different through the determination of flavonoids and organic acids of13different habitats and parts. In the determination of the content of f lavonoids, we found that the ingredients in leaves are higher than the ingredients in stems. At the same time, the chromatogram of13origins has been systematic analysised, and established its fingerprint through the methodological investigation. The best extraction conditions of triterpene acids are ultrasonic60minutes with ethanol20ml once a time by single factor experiment. The content of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid was determined by HPLC, the results show that its contents were different significantly in different origin and different parts, and its contents in leaves is higher than its content in stems. Finally, we have adopted a directly simple steam distillation to extract the volatile components, and the volatile compoents of13different origins had been studied by GC-MS. We found that the volatile chemical composition is basically similar in the different origins. but there were also having differences in the percentage of contents, the reason may be caused by different harvest periods, different origins and different preserved environment. Wherein the proportion of the palmitic acid in various origin is relatively large, and is a main part of its volatile components. The subject systematic studied the content of flavonoids, organic acids and triterpene acids of glechomae in different origins and different parts, also carried out a comparative study of volatile components. It is provided a scientific basis for original identification, evaluation of resources and rational utilization, the clinical use of herbs and the latter part of the study.
