This thesis consists of three parts:Part one. Studies on chemical constituents of Glechoma biondianaIn this thesis, the EtOAc part of an exact of the Glechoma biondiana whole plant in a solution of EtOH were studied. The chemical constituents of the EtOAc part were isolated by means of silica gel column chromatography (CC) and recrystallization. Thirteen compounds were obtained. The structures of ten compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic methods: UV, IR, EI-MS, ESI-MS,FAB-MS, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, DEPT, as well as comparison with authentic samples or the data from literatures. They were identified as triterpenes, terols and fatty acids. 2a, 3β-dihydroxyursa-12-en-28-oic acid, 2a, 3a-dihydroxyursa-12-en-28-oic acid, 2a, 3a, 23-trihydroxyursa-12-en-28-oic acid, 7p-hydroxysitosterol, stigmast-3, 6-dione, stigmast-5, 22-diene-3p-ol, and daucosterol were firstly obtained from this plant.Part two. Studies on chemical constituents of Impatiens fissicornisFrom the whole plant of Impatiens fissicorni, ten compounds were isolated by means of silica gel column chromatography (CC), preparative thin layer chromatography (PTLC) and recrystallization. The structures of six compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic methods: UV, IR,EI-MS. 1HNMR,13CNMR,DEPT, as well as comparison with authentic samples or the data from literatures .They were identified as coumarins, aromatics, fatty acids and alcohol etc.Part three. Volatile comparison of Thymus quinquecostatusThymus quinquecostatus was extracted by supercritical carbon dioxide (SFE-CO2) and steam distillation (SD). Forty-six and thirty-one compounds were identified after the different two extractions being analyzed by GC/MS respectively. The result shows that β-linalool(22.2%) and borneol(7.58%) are the most important compoents. The result of this thesis will provide more chemical evidences for exploiting and utilizing the natural resources and for studies of plant pharmaceutical action.
