Objective Discuss how we can make up Upright weight-bearing model,and observeits’effect.Methods40New Zealand white rabbits are divided into two groups by differentmethods of making osteoarthritis model. Cut respectively the condyle of femoral in1.3.5week,and compare each joint’s feature by general morphology and pathological in order toobserve their changes.Results Mankin ’S score stage of two model groups is higher significantly than that incontrol group (P <0.05).Compare the two groups of models,the differents between them aremeaningful in view of statistics(P<0.05).And the differents between the group of Uprightweight-bearing model and the group of in control are meaningful in view of statistics(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with Hulth model group，Upright weight-bearing model groupcan establish the advanced stage of osteoarthritis earlier. And experiment in joint unstableproves that not only mechanical movement can induce joint cartilage，but also uprightweight-bearing can induce joint cartilage.
