Thecontrol group was given routine treatment and nursing care. The intervention group was given24-week nursing intervention. The nursing intervention concluded interpretation of theimportance of behavioral changes, distribution of instruction manual of nursing interventionand sleep vest, making dietary and exercise plan and regular telephone follow-up.Results (1) There were significant decreases in body weight, BMI, waistcircumference after intervention in the intervention group compared with the control group.(2)There were significant decreases in blood glucose, uric acid, TG, LDL, TC after interventionin the intervention group compared with the control group, but the HDL was not evidentlyhigher.(3) There were significant decreases in AHI, significant increase in LSAT afterintervention in the intervention group compared with the control group.(4) There weresignificant increases in ESS and subjective symptom scores after intervention in theintervention group compared with the control group.(5) There were significant increases insocial communication, emotional function, symptoms and total scores after intervention in theintervention group compared with the control group. Conclusions (1)Nursing intervention can significantly help to reduce body weight,BMI, waist circumference, blood glucose, TG, LDL,TC and uric acid of patients, but had no significant effect on patients’ blood pressure,HDL and neck circumference.(2) Nursingintervention can help to decrease apnea-hyperpnoea index, increase lowest oxygen saturationof patients.(3)Nursing intervention can improve to the subjective symptoms and daytimesleepiness symptoms.(4)Nursing intervention can significantly improve to the life quality ofpatient in social communication, emotion function, symptom dimensions and overall qualityof life, but had no significant effect on the improvement of daily activities.
