Data ofquestionnaire survey and dynamic plantar pressure were received and analyzed.Groups were divided by the span of wearing according to the questionnaire (<2yrsgroup,2-5yrs group,6-10yrs group,11-20yrs group,>20yrs group). One-wayANOVA and Post Hoc Multiple Comparisons would be applied when homogeneity ofvariance was satisfied, Tamhane’s T2test applied conversely.Results1.Wearing characteristics of the recruiters who were accustomed to wearinghigh heels were consistent, but the level or type of complaints caused by high heelswere not evenly distributed within the groups.2.The contact area of midfoot werereduced but the mobility of subtalar joint were increased in2-5yrs group. The contactarea of midfoot and foot flat phase were increased in6-10yrs group. Peak plantarpressure and impulse of Meta2and Meta4were increased with the years of wearing, but the situation of midfoot were reduced significantly in2-5yrs group. Conclusion A series of foot complaints will be caused by wearing high heels forlong-term, distribution of plantar pressure, arch of the foot and feature of gait also willbe altered by which. The complaints may be attributed to the alteration of plantarpressure distribution, arch of the foot and gait feature caused by wearing high heelsfor long-term.
