With the rapid development of Internet technology, wireless communicationtechnology, sensor technology, embedded technology and other supportingtechnology, application of the Internet of Things technology in agriculture aredeepened continuously, environmental monitoring technology based on Internet ofThings is developing to the direction of informationization, intelligent etc, especiallyin the field of remote monitoring. The Internet of Things technology was applied toenvironment monitoring system of greenhouse vegetables, aiming at the problem ofthe vegetable greenhouse environment monitoring, a solution of environmentmonitoring based on Internet of Things was designed, the development process ofsystem sensor gateway was introduced. Embedded ARM processor is the core of thegateway hardware, the processing and transmission of the environmental informationand Multi-node monitoring was realized. The software uses the operating system ofμ C/OS-II, with the digital noise reduction technology, the monitoring data with highprecision is obtained.In the hardware design of the monitoring system gateway, the basic systemstructure of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) was introduced, the characteristics andfunctions of the gateway nodes was analysised; according to the design principles oflow power consumption, miniaturization, stability, low cost, an hardware designscheme of embedded gateway based on ZigBee Technology (CC2430), GPRS(SIM300C) and ARM7microcontroller (LPC2106) was given.In the software design of the monitoring system gateway, according to thecharacteristics of vegetable greenhouse environmental monitoring and the practicalapplication needs of gateway, the operating system tasks of gateway processor waspartitioned and designed, and Zigbee communication program and the FLASHstorage system was designed, realize the data transmission between gateway andInternet in three ways, the software of wireless sensor network gateway in environmental monitoring and control system for vegetable greenhouse wasdesigned.Experiments proved that it not only realized distributed multi-node environmentparameter monitoring, but also achieve a variety of intelligent services by datamining.
