In agricultural production, planting is essential. The efficiency of Seeding is related with the development of agricultural production, so the development of the planter have a significant impact on agricultural production. While seed metering device is the most important component of the planter, directly affect the effect of seeding. And now the most widely used planter are connected with seed metering device by a ground wheel. Sown in the field, to round it is prone to slip or stall is not conducive to the planter work, affecting the quality of sowing. In addition, the planter versatility is not high, the adaptability of seed is very small, planting different crops conversion difficulties, is not conducive to agricultural production.Therefore, this paper carried out the Electric Metering Device Design and Experimental Research. Therefore, this paper carried out the Electric Metering Device Design and Experimental Research.Have designed a DC stepper motor drive electric seed metering device. The structure of Planter Metering Device which belongs to Manufacturing Co., Ltd. of Jiangsu high-yield agricultural have conducted three-dimensional reverse design, and the electric seed metering device power connection and control system have designed. It has abandoned the wheel to the electric seed metering device and has put stepper motor to the power output of the electric seed metering device, this would resolve the above the ground wheel drive problems caused by. Also have being made some improvements on the seed metering device,The seeder length becomes adjustable, so you can adjust the length of the work of the seed metering device to achieve the seeding rate adjustment to suit the requirements of different crop planting.Electric Metering Device function in that subsection has studied. It have designed and fabricated experimental test system of the electric seed metering device.the system is mainly composed of the monomer of seed metering device and the forward simulation system of the planter. the monomer of seed metering device includes speed part, control part, drive components.The forward simulation system of the planter is mainly composed of an adjustable speed conveyor systems. Experimental study on the use of experimental test systems for electric seed metering device, by three factors and three levels orthogonal experimental,we have studied out the relationship of the per acre seeding rate and Machines forward speed, the speed of seed metering device and seeding shaft working length. The experimental results indicates that the device is able to adjust the amount of seeding based on the operating speed. Opening size is the greatest impact of the seeding rate.When the planter forward speed is60m/min, stepper motor speed is45r/min, seed metering device opening is50mm,which is the best combination of parameters for sowing...
