In2011-2013, To contact Koeleria cristata (L.) as the research object, the objectives of this study were to confirm the seed germination, sexual reproduction of different age, different fertilizer rate and different moisture. The results revealed that:(1) the difference of seed setting rate among4different populations of K. cristata were not significant, when the mean rate of seed setting of two-year old K. cristata was35.26%. The mean set amount of pure seed of each plant was0.861g/strain. However, The pure seed set amount of K. cristata from Daqing Mountains and Showa grassland were significantly higher than that from Xilin Gol Grassland. The optimum temperature of the germination was25℃, with the highest average germination rate were88.2%. And the rate of seed germination could be reduced significantly under the low temperature. Of the temperature15℃, the rate of seed germination could be significantly increased by20to30%, when the seeds were processed with Gibberellin. The influence of storage period was also significant on the rate of seed germination and seedling survival, of which the newly harvested seeds was the higher than the seeds for long storage period.(2) There were no significant difference among the seed setting rate of four populations, with the mean rate of seed36.5%in2012. When compared each-age plant, the pure seed set amount of three-year and four-year plant were significantly higher than the other two age plant. There were no significant difference among the thousand seed weight of five populations, with The average grain of seed0.138±0.003g in2013.
