Based onlongest distance (Euclidean distance) method to cluster analysis according to LOXactivity; accelerated aging test was used to forecast67out of138soybean varieties,(lines) storability,and then to analyse the correlation combined with other indicators;The LOX activity and conductivity were determined of107out of138soybeanvarieties which had been storaged for eight months and then to analyse the correlation.The study aimed at comparing soybean varieties (lines) seed vigor differences,investigating the suitable test methods of soybean seed vigor and the relationship betweenseed vigor and LOX activity, for screening high vigor and storability of soybean germplasmprovide a theoretical basis. The main rusults as follows:1.6indicators of seedling growth testã€3indicators of electrical conductivitytestã€the seedling rates in field conditionã€LOX activityã€the protein and fat content,sspecies differences were highly significant of138soybean varieties (lines). LOXactivity was higher among varieties (lines) have AQ03ã€jindou23ã€AQ05ã€susongnongjiaqingã€zhongdou20and so on. LOX activity was lower among varieties(lines) have shangdou14ã€nannong30ã€BQ16ã€jidou17ã€BQ13and so on. Based onlongest distance (Euclidean distance) method, all the varieties could be clustered intofour major groups.The results of correlation analysis showed: Germinationenergy,radicle length,fresh weight,dry weight and simplified vigor index whichtested by seedling growth test had a significant or extremely significant positivecorrelation with seedling rates in field condition. Electrical conductivity had asignificant negative correlation with seedling rates in field condition. This showedthat,seedling growth test and electrical conductivity test are both the suitable methodsto test seed vigor of soybean. LOX activity had no correlation with fresh weight,dryweight, simplified vigor index,soaking conductivity,relative conductivity and seedlingrates in field condition.According to the seedling rates in field condition, simplifiedvigor index and soaking conductivity, preliminary view that higher levels of seedvigor varieties (lines) have(field emergence in more than85%)BQCKã€hedou13〠he99-14ã€lindou10ã€shengdou1hao and so on, lower levels of seed vigor varieties (lines)have(field emergence below60%)AQ05ã€suike998ã€jidou20ã€BQ18ã€shangning11andso on.2. The indicators of accelerated aging test of67soybean varieties (lines) had ahighly significant differences between varieties; Germination energy, germinationpercentage and simplified vigor index had a significant or extremely significantpositive correlation with seedling rates in field condition. This showed that,accelerated aging test is also the suitable methods to test seed vigor of soybean. TheLOX activity had no correlation with the indicators of accelerated aging test.According to the decline of aging simplified vigor index, preliminary view thatstorability better varieties have wupiqingrenã€AQ01ã€dongbeiheidouã€jindou11ã€susongnongjiaqing and so on, Storability poor varieties have shangning15ã€AQ04ã€weidou6haoã€DX02ã€su2116and so on.3. LOX activity, soaking conductivity and relative conductivity were increased tovarying degrees after storaged eighet months of107soybean varieties (lines).Butmost definitely conductivity show a downward trend,LOX activity had no correlationwith soaking conductivity, definitely conductivity and relative conductivity. |
