The experiment uses pigeon as the object, study the red, blue, green of monochromatic light effect on the growth and reproductive performance on pigeon, and on the basis of natural light, every morning and evening supplementary3hours light, and it started from10February2012to10May2012,the total is3months. The control group is supplementary the white light. The results show that:1. The weight of2days young pigeon of the blue light group was significantly higher than that the red light group and the control group (P<0.05);At4days and1week of age,the weight of the young pigeon in the blue light group and the green light group were significantly higher than the red light group and the control group (P<0.05).2. The hatching rate of the green light group is significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05); The broken egg rate of the red light group is significantly higher than the blue light group and control group (P<0.05);There was no significant difference in the different treatment group of egg production, the young rate, average egg weight, still birth rate, young pigeon mortality, slaughtering rate and feed intake (P>0.05).3.The male pigeon of feeding9days of age serum luteinizing hormone (LH) in the control group and the green light group were significantly higher than the red light group and the blue light group (P<0.05);The female pigeon of feeding9days of age in the blue light group serum luteinizing hormone (LH) were significantly higher than the red light group (P<0.05); The parents pigeon on the2weeks feeding and the pigeon in the incubation stage of serum luteinizing hormone (LH) level in different light groups did not show significant difference (P>0.05); The male pigeon of2weeks incubation in the green light group serum follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) levels were significantly higher than the red light group and the blue light group (P<0.05), and the green light group and the control group did not show significant difference(P>0.05); The male pigeon of feeding9days of the blue light group serum follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) levels were significantly higher than that of red, green and the control group (P<0.05); The female pigeon of2weeks of feeding in the green light group and control group serum follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) levels were significantly higher than the red light group and the blue light group (P<0.05);The female pigeon of9days of feeding in the blue light group serum prolactin hormone (PRL) were significantly higher than the other groups (P<0.05); The female pigeon of2weeks of feeding in the control group serum estradiol (E2) were significantly higher than the red light group and the green light group (P<0.05); The serum testosterone (T) level is no significant in the male pigeon of1week and2weeks of incubation and9days and2weeks of feeding in different groups (P>0.05);The serum growth hormone (GH) level are no significant in the young pigeon of9days,2weeks and3weeks in different groups (P>0.05).4. Monochromatic light effects on the young pigeon of2weeks of GHRmRNA expression:The expression of GHRmRNA in the liver and pituitary of the blue light group and the control group were significantly higher than the red light group and the green light group (P<0.05); The expression of GHRmRNA in the hypothalamus of the red light is significantly higher than the other groups (P<0.05); There are no significant difference in heart and muscles of FSHmRNA expression in different groups (P>0.05);Monochromatic light effects on the female pigeon of2weeks feeding in the expression of FSHmRNA:The expression of FSHmRNA in ovarian is significantly higher than the other groups (P<0.05); The expression of FSHmRNA in the pituitary of the red light group is significantly higher than the other groups (P<0.05); There are no significant difference in the spleen, liver, muscle of FSHmRNA expression in different groups (P>0.05);Monochromatic light effects on the male pigeon of2weeks feeding in the expression of GHRmRNA:The expression of FSHmRNA in testicles of the blue light group and control group is significantly higher than the red light group and the green light group (P<0.05); The expression of FSHmRNA in the spleen of the red light group is significantly higher than the other groups (P<0.05); The expression of FSHmRNA in the pituitary of the control group is significantly higher than the other groups (P<0.05); There are no significant difference in the hypothalamus, liver, muscle of FSHmRNA expression in different groups (P>0.05).
