Qujing district mainly produces fen-flavor flue-cured tobacco in ourcountry and soil texture mainly contains light loam, light clay, middle and heavy clay loam. In thispaper, on the basis of Yunnan tobacco area, not only indicators of614soil samples and614flue-cured tobacco samples (C3F) from9tobacco-planting counties are analyzed, but thefen-flavor in different soil texture, landformis compared. The paper study the relationshipsbetween the elements in soil and tobacco quality character. Main researches are concluded asfollows:1. Quantitative characteristics on fen-flavor tobacco were analyzed in different soiltexture, terrain and landform. Overall, aroma type scored3.57±0.66, light clay reached3.61±0.58,which was the highest score in the four soil texture, middle loam score is the lowest reaching3.49±0.70. It displayed negative bias cliff peaks distributions and concentrated data. The tobaccofen-flavor in middle loam was obvious, flue-cured tobacco sample proportion of obviousfen-flavor light clay and light loam reached53.4%and55.0%respectively. Flue-cured tobaccoaroma type of different terrain in Qujing was analyzed that the score of river channel was higherthan flatland. Flue-cured tobacco aroma type in different terrain closed to normal distribution anddisplayed negative bias cliff peaks distributions. Flatland fen-flavor sample proportion occupied66.3%mostly. Score of paddy field tobacco odor type in the different landforms was the highestwith3.88±0.59. Tobacco odor type in different landform displayed positive bias cliff peaksdistributions and closed to normal distribution.2. The distribution characteristics of soil pH value and nutrient content in different soiltexture. The result showed that the total nitrogen and potassium content reached highest with thenitrogen content of (1.59±0.56) g/kg, which38.97%of the heavy nitrogen samples fell between1.5g/kg~2.0g/kg. Heavy loam potassium content was (14.56±5.59)g/kg,21.44%of which fellbetween16.0g/kg~22.0g/kg. Sample proportion of light total nitrogen content was least with22.33%. Order of total phosphorus content in different soil texture was middle loam>heavyloam>light clay>light loam, middle loam potassium content was (1.65±0.66)g/kg. Soil alkahi-hydrolyzable nitrogen in different soil texture was abundant. Soil alkahi-hydrolyzablenitrogen in light clay was highest reaching (138.43±39.42) mg/kg and11.11%of the heavy loamwas least with the proportion of110.0mg/kg~180.0mg/kg. Differences of available phosphorusamong different soil texture were not significant, average of light soil available phosphorus was(143.24±73.45)mg/kg.3. Quality characteristics of flue-cured tobacco in different soil texture were compared. Theresult showed that total sugar and reducing sugar content was high with33.13%±5.24%and23.73%±4.26%respectively, higher than light clay, which had no significant difference with heavyand middle loam. Total nitrogen content in light loam was lower than other loam. Difference ofnicotine among different soil texture was not significant. Tobacco potassium content in light claywas lower than light clay and middle loam with1.37%. Tobacco potassium content in light claywas high with1.67%. Chlorinity in light loam was lowest with0.11%. Chlorinity in light clay waslowest with0.27%. Chlorinity in light clay was higher than light and middle loam. Tobacco starchcontent in light loam was higher than other soil texture with4.96%. Tobacco magnesium contentin light loam and middle loam was significantly higher than light clay and heavy loam. Calciumcontent had no difference among different soil texture. Sensory quality among different soiltexture had no difference and displayed middle loam>heavy loam>light clay>light loam. Grayscore in light clay was significantly lower than light clay, middle and heavy loam.4. Total nitrogen and nicotine and effective magnesium was significantly positive correlation, the total nitrogen were very significant negative correlation, and effective iron nicotine andwater-soluble chloride was significantly negative correlation, correlation analysis and regressionanalysis results are consistent. Loam under the condition of total sugar and total nitrogen, available phosphorus, were very significant negative correlation between total phosphorus, andtotal potassium was significantly positively related to reducing sugar and total phosphorus weresignificantly negative correlation, total nitrogen and total potassium was significantly negativecorrelation, were very significant positive correlation with alkali solution nitrogen, nicotine andtotal phosphorus was significantly positively related, starch and total nitrogen, alkali solutionnitrogen significantly negative correlation. Under the condition of heavy loam total sugar withalkali solution nitrogen, total phosphorus was significantly negative correlation, total nitrogen andsoil total nitrogen, alkali solution nitrogen, total phosphorus was significantly positively related, starch and total nitrogen, alkali-hydrolysable nitrogen significantly negative correlation; Reducingsugar, total nitrogen and magnesium was significantly negative correlation relationship effectively, starch were very significant positive correlation with effective magnesium; Total nitrogen, nicotine and effective boron the significantly negative correlation between the morning. Traceelements in different soil texture as independent variables, middle flue-cured tobacco leafchemical components as dependent variable, linear regression analysis, regression analysis andcorrelation analysis results are basically identical, to establish the ideal regression fitting equation.5.
