Anoplophora chinensis is one of the major pests which is the most serious and difficult to preventein our country. It cause the very serious harm to Casuarina equisetifolia which is the major coastalshelterbelt species in our southeast. It is body wall is covered with a thick and hard elytra, which makesthe traditional pesticides is difficult to play to control. Observation of Anoplophora chinensis behaviorand habits we found that its adults particularly liked to feeding on the Melia azedarach. This paper aimsto study Anoplophora chinensis aluring by Melia azedarach and the reaction behavior of Anoplophorachinensis to the volatile chemicals of Melia azedarach.Respectively planted the two years Melia azedarach on the edge and in the forest. Detailed studythe Anoplophora chinensis alured by Melia azedarach. Placed the Melia azedarach, Koelreuteria andCasuarina under the same environment. The results show that the lure rate reached to50.33%in thewild lure experiment and the3rd place lure rate reached to87.50%. And a large number of Meliaazedarach is more effect. The indoot experiment showed that Melia azedarach food consumption ismuch larger than Koelreuteria and Casuarina. We combinationed of dynamic headspace acquisition, thermal desorption and GC-MS technologyto analys the volatile chemicals of Melia azedarach. The main volatile chemical are Terpenes andHydrocarbon compounds. And the most terpenes are L-alpha-pinene which is89.07%.Use the GC-EAD technique determinated the electrophysiological response of Anoplophorachinensis to the volatile substances of Melia azedarach. The experimental results show that theGC-EAD reaction of the antennae of male and female adults were no significant differences. Thesensitive parts of the adult is the end of its tentacles. Anoplophora adult antennae have the certainreaction to the five kinds of stimulation of the compound which are Beta-pinene, sinistral-alpha-pinene,myrcene, styrene-butadiene and myrtle enol. The stimulation of Beta-pinene is the most strongly.Wild cross funnel-shaped traps measured Anoplophora chinensis behavior reaction of volatilechemicals. The results showed that Anoplophora chinensis with attracting effect of beta-pinene, myrcene, phellandrene and myrtle enol. The rest of the monomers are not lured to adults. The beginning of thetrial the Anoplophora field attracting effect is less than ideal, analyze the causes may be related to thesingularity of the attractant. So Melia azedarach as Anoplophora chinensis eating species, has a significant role in luringadults. The key is Melia azedarach can release volatile odor stimulated adults. The Melia azedarachvolatiles can lure of Anoplophora is the combined effect of the mixture of volatile chemicals.
