In recent years, there are various of agricultural products in the mountainous area ofsouth anhui, which has the large plant area and the heavy demand, the traditional methodhas not satisfy the requirements of production. The market demand has been the mainfactors for restricting the rapid development of agricultural products, but the agriculturalproducts can’t meet the market demand is caused by the low efficiency and quality ofmaterial processing. Therefore, improve processing level seems particularly important. Inanhui province, Characteristics of crops are rich, such as tea, ganoderma, pecans, greenradish, mushroom, etc, and the area of planting area is large, the production is rich,Therefore, The agricultural products processing machinery is imperative. Especially, thedrying of agricultural products has been the key to prove the quality of products, The driedgoods after processing is not only facilitate the storage and transportation, and can meet therequirements of market. Sun drying is one of the traditional method of drying, which hasmany disadvantages, such as the low efficiency, the influence of weather changes, theproducts can not be dried in a short time, etc. Moreover, the temperature control is difficult,Overheating of products can lead to excess respiration and fungal growth causing lossesand yellowing, which result in low quality ultimately. For those purpose, the majority offarmers love the way of drying as the airtight baking. This approach not only affects thequality of the products, but also violates the regulations of the state. Furthermore, the healthof people may be harmed seriously. In order to enhance the level of drying, the researchand production of efficient and reliable dryer become the development trend.Today, although the development of dryer is fast and the penetration rate of dryer isincreased every year, there are some common problems of dryer, for example, energyutilization is unreasonable, the thermal energy efficiency of dryer is general low, thepollution is serious, etc. Based on the above points, this paper mainly deals with howtechnical improvement of dryer for energy saving be carried out. Therefore, We adopted thefollowing measures:1) By using multilayer drying equipment, the materials can be driedbased on three-dimensional heat, and the hot gas can be fully utilized in each layer becauseit has a air deflector, so the hot air flow in both horizontal and vertical orientation.2) Thereis a certain space between each piece of the material, which helps the lower hot gas to drythe materials and allow for better air movement around them.3) The forestry wasters isrich in the south of anhui, Such as straw, rice husk etc. We take advantage of it as the fuel, which is not only play the roles of waste utilization, and can reduce pollution emissions.In order to complete the design of dryer, we get the data from enterprise and relevantmaterial, and the3D modeling of each part is done by CATIA and the general assembly isfinished. Moreover, the main invalidation of driving shafts is fatigue rupture, as the drivingshaft are mainly subjected loads. This paper uses ANSYS/Workbench finite elementanalysis software to set up a3D model of driving shaft. Then driving shaft are fatigueanalyzed with ANSYS fatigue module. The results of the analysis completely conform tothe requirements of design.The running of dryer is inseparable from the control system. This article use the SCMas the core of it, data acquisition and control system are highly active, helping us achievethe adjustable temperature dryer, Moreover, the system control the conveyor speed byinverter and AC motor. In addition, We also participate in a large number of test for cropsdrying. On the one hand, we can test the various functions of dryer and improve the systemon the basic of the original. On the other hand, we can obtain the effective data. Finally, theresult of test is satisfactory.
