“You Xiu” broccoli cultivars were selected as material, the conventional manureas control, there were seven treatments: no topdressing(T1); theoretical manure(T2);sole topdressing bio-fertilizer(T3); nitrogen fertilizer decrement25%(T4); nitrogenfertilizer decrement50%(T5); fertilizer overabundance25%(T6) and fertilizeroverabundance50%(T7), this research was aimed to study the effect of fertilizercombinations on broccoli growth indicators, yield, quality, nutrition concentration, absorption, soil physicochemical properties and nutrient content in fields of Hexi areaof Gansu province. And designed to develop a reasonable fertilization scheme andprovide a theoretical basis for high quality and efficiency production of plateausummer broccoli. The results of this study were concluded as follows:1. Plant height increased with the increasing of fertilization rate of differenttreatments, but there was a downward about it when fertilization rate beyond N826kg/hm2, P2O575kg/hm2, K22O246kg/hm. The leaf numbers were strongly correlatedwith N rate. The open-leaf of broccoli increases in direct proportion to the amount offertilizer. Broccoli was promoted to turn into rosette period、squaring stage、curdintumescence period and harvest period more earlier. And lower fertilizer, moreobvious the efficiency was. Fresh weight of shoot, fresh and dry weight of root offertilizer overabundance25%were maximum, and no topdressing’s were minimum, while theoretical manure’s dry weight of root was maximum, and no topdressing’swas minimum.2. Broccoli yield increased with the increasing of N application below826kg perhectare which showed that the key factor affecting yield was nitrogen, But there was adownward of yield when N application increased to992kg per hectare.3. The nitrate content was improved while soluble sugar content was declinedbecause of the high nitrogen treatment, the higher ratio of nitrogen and phosphorusand the shortage of potassium. The Vc content of curd was dropped for too high or toolow fertilizer amount. The chlorophyll content, crude protein content and tight degreeof broccoli curd increased with the increasing of nitrogen application rate. 4. Broccoli mineral nutrition content in different organs have the same trendsduring the whole growth period under different fertilizer combinations. The nitrogencontent of various organs of broccoli plant during harvest period are, in order, curd>leaf>stem>root, the content of phosphorus followed by curd>stem>leaf>root, and the content of potassium followed by stem>curd>leaf>root.Broccoli absorbedpotassium most, followed by nitrogen, and phosphorus at least. N and P2O5mostaccumulated in leaves while K2O most accumulated in stem.5. Under the treatments of no topdressing and sole topdressing bio-fertilizer, soilpH reduced slightly and then increased slowly, while soil EC increased gradually andthen reduced, the rest of the treatments′soil pH all reduced with the frequency offertilization from the planting period to harvest time while soil EC all increased withthe amount of fertilizer added.6. Available N in soil increased with the increasing of the amount of manureunder various fertilizer treatment, while available P in soil declined with the rising ofthe ratio of nitrogen and phosphorus, and there were no significant difference betweendiverse manure amount of soil’s available K content.7. The optimum fertilizer amount for broccoli in Hexi area of Gansu province isN496kg、 P2O575kg、 K2O246kg per hectare, considering the economicbenefits, growth development of broccoli, the nutrient accumulation of plant and soilconditions.
