This study used seven different temperature with-16℃、-8℃、-4℃、0℃、4℃、8℃and room temperature onReaumuria soongorica seeds stored during a period of6months. so as to study the physiological changes of Reaumuria soongorica seedsin the storage process.and then find out the most suitable storage temperature ofReaumuria soongorica seeds, so as to postpone the deterioration for extend thestorage life and preserve germplasm resources. The results were all followed:(1)The content of malondialdehyde (MDA) increased firstly, then decreasedand increased at last in the storage time under different temperature, and reachedminimum at the storage of-8℃after6months, This proved that the lower thetemperature, the less the toxic substances accumulation during the seed storage, theless damage to seeds membrane system.(2)The content of praline decreased firstly and then increased with the increaseof storage time, and reached minimum at the storage of-8℃,-4℃,4℃and8℃after2month, on0℃processing, the praline content reached minimum after2months,on-16℃processing, the praline content reached minimum after6months.(3)Storage under different temperature gradient after6months, soluble sugarincreased in storage for1months and then decreased as the extension of storage time,it,s Showed that seed respiration metabolism is stronger, consumption of organiccarbohydrate increased. Soluble sugar maintain in a relatively stable level, andreached maximum after storage at2months and5months.(4)The activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the peroxidase (POD)activity decreased, the catalase (CAT) activity increased firstly and then decreased inthe storage time under different temperature. Under the storage condition of-16℃、-8℃、-4℃after6months, SOD activity, POD activity and CAT activity is higherthan0℃、4℃、8℃and room temperature storage.Reaumuria soongorica seeds hadhighest antioxidant enzyme activity under-8℃storage condition in the storage time.(5)The results showed that during the storage condition of-8℃, the antioxidantenzyme system of Reaumuria soongorica seeds can be maintained good, the lipid peroxidation weaker and less damage to the membrane system. So as to control thecaducity of Reaumuria soongorica seeds, and extend it,s storage life.
